Its the biggest payday possible right now for him.

Arguably, this thing could go airborne and make record breaking money. No other matchup has that potential. Possibly the biggest fight in the history of Zuffa.

I disagree wholeheartedly with letting anyone nest on a belt. That is bad for the sport -this should require him to forgo the featherweight title. The most basic requirement of being champion is defending the belt. If you are unable or unwilling to do that, you cannot be the champion.

Other than that, which will really irritate me, it makes the most sense for everybody. Life changing amounts of money will be made across the board. So be it.
