1. Iaquintas cardio, heart, and defensive grappling aren’t getting enough credit.

2. Styles makes fights. If KHabib lands that early TD on Conor and beats him up round 1, Conor does NOT have the cardio or heart to come back from that. He wouldnt be stuffing TDs after round 1 and would give up and get finished earlier than Iaquinta.

3. If Khabib gets stuffed early and tries to strike too much with Conor, he will get hit very hard and likely TKO’d. We’d find out about his chin and own heart.

4. Last night proved Tony is definitely a more dangerous fight for khabib over the full 5 rounds. Conor remains dangerous in rounds 1-2 only.

Conor would have a hell of a time stuffing any of Khabibs takedowns. Dude was grabbing a foot and completing the takedown. But i agree with the rest.

Khabib isnt gonna finish Conor in rounds 1 and 2 in my opinion regardless of if he has him down or not..Khabib usually breaks opponents over the fight.

And if Khabib then cant get the take downs as easily in the championship rounds
Conor can put his lights out.. But Would Conor have the Cardio? Thats one of the biggest issues..
And Khabib most likely fought a little differently last night to put on a show.. He didnt have to risk standing with AL he could have kept spamming takedown after takedown until he got one.

I do think last night showed us some holes that were in Conors favor. i do however believe this fight is closer to 80/20 Khabib. i think the way he sticks his chin out is really Conors best chance to victory. By my unscientific assessment, Conor has a 20% chance of landing the KO in the first round, and thus winning the fight. After that, he probably has a 10% chance of landing the KO shot in the second.

Khabib dominates 100% of every other round.

By my math, that really gives Conor about a 6% chance of winning the fight.
