    A couple notes

Conor looked like he had plenty of gas after 2 rounds of being squeezed to death and beaten by Khabib. Indicating some improvement In his conditioning and energy management relative to previous fights

The way hes moving on his back foot seems a bit off, almost appearing to give out on him at occasions. So there may be some validity to the foot injury based on this round.

For a guy known for his movement and fighting well off the back foot, he seemed fairly flat footed. Most of his weight was on his front leg.

His wrestling and TDD looked very good here, stuffed 3 takedowns

Khabibs boxing is certainly much better than we give him credit for. Great left hook.

    Anyways enjoy

I'm confident that if Conor went into his camp focused, without a 2 year layoff, and without the foot injury he would have finished Khabib and won easily

This is a pretty extreme statement and I cant say I support it

Khabib could very well have beaten any version of Conor

But there seems to be some credibility for the foot injury based on evidence. And it's very probable that we didn't get the same Conor who fought Alvarez prior to Floyd.

That said, that Conor may be long gone as well

Khabib carried Conor in that round just like Mayweather carried Conor throughout their boxing match.

Had to give the Conor casuals some sort of false hope like he actually had a chance to win.

I don't think Conor can beat Khabib, however after re-watching the fight you can definitely see that his back foot is fucked.

...no it doesn't lol. he looks the exact same he did when he was gassed in the mayweather and diaz fights.

literally nobody said he looked like he had an ankle injury until conor made that excuse, which he now seems to have swapped for the 'uncommitted camp' excuse.

He definitely was tentative on his back foot and looked like he was trying to minimise the amount of weight on it. Around 30 seconds into the round it almost gives out as he rolled over a bit on it. Pretty obvious that foot was nowhere near 100%.

They also had a different mind set I the 3rd round. You will lose anyway if you lose 3 rounds and have not enough power to finish, so in the case of Conor it's better to give everything you have in the third and hope for the best. This while Khabib could still lose if he would tire himself too much and he wanted to pace himself.

    He was not gassed here

His weight was also entirely on his front leg as well. The way he was moving on it was very suspect, this is a guy known for fighting well off his back foot

I'm personally not trying to make excuses, i dont give a shit either way. But the evidence is quite clear here

I always said he looked very flat footed and not his usual bouncy flowey self long before Conor mentioned the balloon. And its not an either or situation, he may well have both the injury and 'uncommited camp'. If it was just one or the other Conor would likely still win but lets be honest, a lot of things have to go wrong for Conor, right for Khabib for Khabib to get the win. Khabib knows this too which is why he says he needs to win something ridiculous like 10 in a row to get another shot.

I dont give a shit either way

I'd bet my soul on that in blood

But I call it as I see it and again, as a martial artist myself, this was quite glaring.

But you've let your rational hat at home today so I'll leave you to your thoughts. Not interested in memes

Slowly trying to change the narrative of the fight, in anticipation for a potential rematch..

    It's so obvious.

Was Conrat focused and motivated in the Nate rematch? Also Conrat was active up to the Nate rematch also.
