Stop comparing two fighters like their development is the same, the Max that Conrad beat had just come off a decision loss to freaking Dennis Bermudez, THAT was his level at the time, he's a completely different fighter now.

Bermudez was on the upside of his career then, a top 10 Featherweight who people thought was going to be a contender. Dude was athletic too. Max Holloway was a nobody, but the decision was controversial and a lot of people thought Max won. Max looked mad fucking skilled vs Denis.

It's funny, Max went on to dominate several cans after his loss to Bermudez, but that fight with Bermudez was more telling of his skills than the cans he crushed afterwards. But when he was knocking out Will Chope, Akira Corasanni and that Justin guy from TUF people were surprised and thought he really had potential.

Both Conor and Max have improved. I would say Max has got better as a fighter and improved his skills more while Conor has evolved his game and fine tuned his style. I got Conor winning again.

If Conor can "fix" his cardio (he went 5 rounds with a Diaz its not as bad as many want to believe) i don't see anyone without a wrestling backround causing a Threat.

Well conor lost value big time after khabib fight. He wanted a rematch but khabib rejected. Before his value further depreciates, conor needs to do some sort of redemption. He cant fight any of 10 guys because 1) he has beaten most of them so no point in winning 2) if he loses then he is dobe for. So conor wants to find an easy win. Silva is an ex legend who is pretty much washed out and desperate. He is easily beatable and with a relatively high value. Conor can make 180 easy. He bulked up to 180 before fighting mayweather. Conor will most likely win this won. If he does, he will demand a rematch with khabib.

Conor moved up to a heavier division and won 1 round vs that grappler that had previously lost zero rounds.
