You know that facts are truth, not just what you Conor fangirls want to believe. It's not a fact because Conor hasn't beaten Gaethje, and never will because he's too scared to lose something.

Conor also isn't "easily" the 2nd best LW just because he lost to Khabib. He has to prove it. Past accomplishments don't mean shit if you're not going to stay relevant today. Conor is a master at manipulation, which is why stupid people like you fall for it every time.

Conor talks himself up for big fights because he knows he doesn't have the ability anymore to actually work his way up the rankings and consistently beat top talent. He knows he'd lose, so he just keeps talking shit until he gets what he wants. He never deserved a shot against Khabib.

In reality, he should be fighting someone like Dan Hooker to prove he even still has what it takes to be in the game. But he would never do that, for all the reasons i've mentioned. I'd be happy if he even fought Ferguson or Poirier. But he does not deserve Gaethje right now. He already passed at that offer, too fucking bad. Take a non-title fight and get in line like everyone else.

Either way, he bitched out when he was offered Gaethje, and instead chose Cowboy for his return fight. He knew it was the safer bet because he didn't have the confidence to win against Gaethje.
