2:19 into the video:
Let's see by the end of 2015. Let's see who has the highest PPV numbers. Let's see who has the highest gate. Let's see who has the highest attendance.
Conor took the PPV record with UFC 189 at 825k. Ronda broke it with UFC 190 at 900k. Ronda has 193 left and Conor has 194 left. They could both beat 900k, but let's see who takes this record for 2015. I think it could go either way.
If the estimate in the Dana video posted above is correct, then Conor has the gate record for 2015 with UFC 189 at $7.2 mil. 194 has a chance of beating that. Either way though Conor will take that record.
High attendances actually aren't possible in Vegas, at least until the new arena opens up next year. Conor set a Vegas attendance record at UFC 189, and beat even Mayweather/Pacquiao in that regard. But UFC 188 in Mexico City holds the current record. Obviously UFC 193 will beat that, and Ronda wins this one.
Gate: Conor
Attendance: Ronda
PPV: currently Ronda, but by the end of 2015, who knows?
The gate and attendance stats aren't great for comparing Ronda vs. Conor. Vegas tickets are expensive so the gates are often high. The Melbourne show was probably gonna do well attendance-wise with or without Ronda, as Lawler/Condit was set as original headliner. I'm sure Conor would have broken the attendance record too had he headlined UFC 193. While the PPV stats also aren't a perfect way to compare Ronda vs. Conor, they're better than gate and attendance, and will give a decent indicator of where they both are.
Edit: to clarify, I'm just talking about 2015 records, and who out of Ronda and Conor has had a better 2015.
