Knows he cant make 145 anymore
Knows he cant walk in and randomly 1 punch KO 155ers
Knows no matter how Diaz II turns out, he cannot just KO the entire 155 class

Questions life and whether or not getting punched in the face by 155ers is worth it.

Agreed.

Or perhaps he first hand witnessed a young man die in a cage right before him just 3 years after having a close friend suffer brain trauma through competition.

Kid's today...

The Irish "gangster" met a real Stockton gangsta.

And that's all she wrote.

I was saying after the Nate fight that Conor was more akin to a battered woman than a fighter now.

Conor needs to spend some time in a crisis center for abused women like himself.

The guy didn't die in the cage in front of Conor.
He died 2 days afterwards.

Know your facts

What happened in the cage is what killed the man. Let's not split hairs kiddo.

realizes he's finally been exposed and the jig is up. retires.

Well if he is facing an existential crisis it may be in the sense that the whole world put so much value in him as a person through his undefeated UFC career and impressive knockouts, especially the Aldo KO. He himself may have grown an ego about his skills as a fighter and derived his personal sense of self-worth from the fact that he kept winning and knocking people out. With this loss to Nate Diaz he may be feeling an internal loss of self-worth (loss affecting his ego) and also the external loss of self-worth from the loss of his fair-weather fans, those that Conor may feel only looked at him as a clown for their amusement and didn't actually respect him. This may be causing his existential crisis.

Herp dee durp. Conor no make 145. Conor need 1 punch KO 155. Conor scared Diaz. Conor scared get punch face.
