Conor should have told UFC to make his fight at '201' if he did not want outside pressures

Simply put, if Conor is being truthful about why he is not doing the press this time around, then he should have never taken a fight on UFC's biggest card ever that anybody with a brain could see would be a media circus.
If he truly feels this way, then ask for the fight at UFC 201 instead.
It would give him another 4-5 weeks of training & less outside pressure.

Simply put, you don't take a main event on UFC's biggest hyped card ever, if you want to lay-low!

Did Lesnar and Mir have to do a "world tour," for UFC 100?

This is a fair point. But I'm sure people don't know how they feel until they're in the process.

No & Conor wouldn't have for this.

It was three pressers & a commercial.
He agreed to one presser.

Plus Conor is not 'new' & he knew that 200 would be much higher profile than any other fight - think clearly about the obvious.

But Conor asked for this fight at 200 & at this weight.
Both are on him (the added weight issue & the press scrutiny).

Thats the thing, its not like he didnt know what he would have to do, he just got sour when the UFC didn't bow down to his change of heart

If it was truly only about doing less press & having more time to train then UFC 201 makes perfect sense
Even now as a rescheduled fight.

He did not want to face Nate in Stockton. He may have actually imploded at that presser. I think he is more devastated by that loss than he is trying to let on. I also think he wants no more of Nate. These antics seem like a low key way to duck that fight.

You might be right.
The "too much press" 10 weeks before a fight has way too many holes in the story.

Who was it said prior to the Diaz fight that after his next three fights Conor'd be three straight losses and have ZERO belts.... Fucking Nostradamus that dude.

Looks like it might be one loss & no belts (if they strip him)
;)

I guess he doesn't have the balls for the big fight after talking about dem money fights. He shook.
