UFC champs are terrible. Most of them. MM and Cormier are the decent ones. And the only great one is Conor, cause he fights.

13 seconds loss after aldo pulled out of previous fight. Conor isnt holding up anything he fight so often. These guys all want conor to get that red panty night, they can easily fight each other to make a clear choice but no they want to wait for red panty.

Fans complain all the time when champs arn't defending there belts, but what is so often the reason..injury
An interim belt is granted and then we wait...kinda lame
Now we have a champion who is not going to be defending his belt simply because he doesn't want to. He'd rather fight in every other weight class he'd can possibly make and if all goes well for him, lock up all those belts for eternity while we wait for him to bounce around divisions. Luckily he'll never touch the welterweight belt. We'll see about lightweight, but I doubt that he'll win that also.
With Conor fighting Diaz yet again, that gives a best case scenario of him actually defending his belt in no less than 10 months from winning it..at best.. more likely closer to a year. Not because injury, because he simply won't defend the belt. If you want to go get choked out by guys at 170 (most likely twice) go for it, but quit holding up the 145 division

This is a weird timing thing because of UFC 200. This PPV is a milestone and will be stacked (should be). The fact that UFC 196 did 1.5 mil in buys means this is the fight to make right now.

Aldo doesn't deserve anything until he wins one. After acting like a tough guy "I'll fight him anywhere any time" and then getting a chance to step in only to say "well, hold on here, I cant fight on 11 days notice".

Frankie is the #1 guy in line. He's just gonna have to suck it up and realize the UFC's motives are much bigger and more important than his title shot.

It's as simple as this. Strip him of the belt and if he ever wants to go back down to FW, he has to fight Mendes to earn the title shot.

If any other fighter did what he's doing, people would be livid.

And comparing this to when a guy gets injured is absurd. He's not injured, he's just choosing not to fight two guys that are deserving of the title shot.

Aldo and Frankie for the FW title. There is no other answer.

Cain and Travis is a good fight. You seem to forget Junior knocked Cains head off once as well. They haven't fought yet, why the hell would you judge this fight based off of his Junior trilogy?
