There is nothing wrong with anything Conor did. All the shit talking and antics did was bring attention to the sport, Conor's opponents and other's on the same card. All the work Conor put in to build his career did a lot for a lot of people and ge shouldn't be ashamed for it. MMA with Conor McGregor is far better off because of everyhing he did. We were just reminded again last night how fragile greatness is and this will allow us to appreciate greatness more the next time we see it.

Conor was humble and paid respect to Nate. He has represented the sport well , he just did it with showmanship. Most fight fans want to see a fighter let it all hang out and Conor did that both inside and outside the cage. He gave a very detailed look inside his mind with his analysis of his opponents and his predictions. He should not be condemned for this he should be praised for everything he did. So what if he won't become a multiple division champ? Most fighters are never even willing to entertain the thought of going after that acheivement let alone to try to do it.

As a BJ Penn fan, I know that bitter taste all too well.

Nice thread! You gotta be in it to win it!

If he retired today he'd have made more money than most of the roster and would still be talked about for years to come.

Don't panic though......I think there's plenty more McGregor to come!!!

you believe in space!
