Just as I predicted before, Conor used his vaunted kickboxing and striking techniques that he learned while training with Ernesto Hoost from his training camp. He spent the better part of 5 rounds SMASHING hard kicks into Diaz's lead leg, and it was unfortunate that Nate doesn't know how to stop leg kicks.

The legend of Conor continues to grow and after a historic showcase of heart and striking talent, he will forever be known as a champion. Not only will he forever be a hero of the octagon, but people will always remember how he dismantled Nate Diaz on one leg too. Conor broke his foot in the first round and kept soldiering forward. He is solidifying his place at the peak of MMA mount rushmore.

Rda, bendo and rory sent him to the "shadow realm." Conor spent 300 k to barely beat him after obsessing over him for months straight.

i appreciate TS troll

but anyhoo

for standup conor used ernesto hoost, and for bjj dillon danis ?

You dont send someone to the Shadow Realm but eeking out a close split decision, gassing, and literally turning your back to your opponent to run from him instead of use proper defense. I'm a fan of both guys as well.

I bet you never even watched Yu-Gi-Oh or played the TCG you fucking normie.

IMO the leg kicks had more to do with the outcome than most people are giving credit for right now. they always work against either nate or nick, they never check them properly until it's too late, and conor did good work with them in the early rounds.

honestly I didn't think he'd implement the strategy as well as he did. I mean it was right there waiting but it always is with diaz, and I figured conor's ego would get the best of him again and he would just start brawling.

conor proved last night he is a cerebral fighter. I'm not a fan of the man but it's hard not to appreciate the skill level of the striking.

TS is solidifying his place at the peak of Mount Fanboy.

Agreed I think those kicks in the first round were very very key

Could have played a big part in those knock downs too as Nates leg was already jacked up

Connor used his striking because that's all he has. He didn't want to go to the ground the three times Diaz fell or was knocked down, he backed up. Playing the usual Sherdog poster......Diaz played Connors game for twenty five minutes last night and was never finished. Connor played Diaz's game in the first fight for a couple minutes and tapped.

The "shadow realm" is not going to catch on, nor does it sound cool.

Ok, I'll play.

Conor showed more heart than any fighter in UFC history. He broke his foot in the first round and persevered through every round, smashing Nate on the feet en route to a clear cut dominating victory.

You can hate your way out of my thread loser.

Rumble sent Glover to the shadow realm.

Conor sent Diaz to the octagon floor that's it.

I dont think you can use "sent to the shadow realm" when you won via majority decision.

Touchy Mc Touch But, er Ham Sock.........Connor won in a good fight no hate here, though it doesn't change the fact that he has little ground game and that is the only reason he used his striking. But if he wants to be remembered as a Champ he should defend his belt at least once.

Oh what's the shadow realm...the place Rumble sent Teixera, cause I didn't see it if that's the case.
