The only "excuse" I heard is he said Nate was able to take the punches because he's a bigger man. Which is false. Some big men have glass chins. Nate was able to take the punches because he has a great chin...which he should have known BUT he just KO'd the #1 P4P fighter who's never been KO'D in 13 seconds. So...I can see why he would have thought the way he did.

Besides that he basically admitted he sucked at using his energy wisely and Nate did a much better job. He also stated Nate stayed in the pocket and was able to absorb his shots. Then he said his gamble didn't pay off and he will get back to work and come back.

What more do you want?

Freaking Weidman is claiming he was like 30% or something.
 
Both fighters put on a show. People get too caught up with choosing sides instead of just appreciating a good fight

The way that Conor handled this loss has made a fan out of me. Have been rooting against him but he really took his loss like a fucking champ. Respect

Nate was bleeding and getting hit but it was Conor who turned into the panic wrestler. Nate won because he can take a beating whereas Conor panics. That's why he lost not that energy inefficiency bull shit.

Yeah. Lots of hater BS. Its not like he's claiming he was at 70% or 30 or had staph.
Dude was just surprised Diaz could take the shots, he thought it must be because he's a larger man, and thats it. Other than that he credited Diaz for everything and laid out how he sucked.


Refer to Weidman if you want a terrible excuse. Refer to Ronda if you want a total collapse.

Nothing like that happened here.
 
Seems a silly excuse to make when you spend the who lead up to the fight saying how weight classes don't matter and how you can beat any man doesn't it

Dude needs to take his training more seriously.
Get with a real trainer in a real camp, Ronda's in the exact same boat, too much ego surrounding themselves with yes men.
Natural ability took them very far, but the next step requires pocketing pride and training with professionals.

When anyone stands with a a Diaz,they get worn out by the oave and volume. History has shown this to be fact. History has not shown that Conor can be successful using a conservative style...

I totally get that. BUT this is a dude who just KO'd Aldo in 13 seconds. Aldo had a REAL hard fight with Mendes. I dont think he took that into account in his win.Plus Aldo was out for a long time.

I think he found the first chin that could take his shots. Also, he was spamming it...willing it to happen. Terrible. Which he acknowledged with his energy comment. He was full blown KO you now confident and he failed and basically admitted it.

It's sad because I'm a part of it... but at this point, unless Conor got on his knees and apologized for every stupid thing he said, whatever he said was gonna come up short. McGregor thought that if he did the right things after the loss, he could keep the filthy MMA fanbase, but we are beneath that. Only as good as your last fight.
I'm glad my girl Rousey just avoided all of that. We are scum and deserve nothing outside the fights that we watch.
For all the people that believed Conor's words, his performance fell short. He thought that taking it like a man would make people give him "teh hespect", but we just wanted to laugh at him. And that's where we are.

Yeah you should read that again because all I saw that he ACTUALLY said was inefficient and he panicked. There's no mention of the 1 excuse he gave that wasn't against himself.
 
Conor gets more heat for all of his insane trash talk, which is well deserved.
 
Conor fought stupid, went out headhunting a guy who is hard to KO and can still fight in zombie mode. He fought a bad fight plain and simple. Had he taken his time dragged it out worked on the body more, I have no doubt Conor would have gotten the win. But as said above, he does have holes in his game and he seriously needs better trainers, and to work on some wrestling, sub defense and BJJ in general.
