Media Conor once suggested Tony was OVERRATED, only to later suggest Tony is UNDERRATED

Yeah he was responding to Islam making fun of COVID. Why would Islam make fun of COVID when Khabib's dad was dying from it?
I think sometimes it is just okay to admit defeat when you have been proven wrong rather than arguing for the sake of arguing and looking like an absolute moron.

Maybe overrated before, underrated now? Tony is one crazy and skilled fighter but his awesome win streak wasn't exactly against elite of the elite competition. Someone like Poirer likely would have beaten Tony similar to how Gaethje dominated him. That being said, style makes fights and Tony is very skilled and he'd still be able to beat fighters that are higher ranked than him, just that he will fall short against certain types of fighters.

Nah, according to the haters, that post never existed. The only thing that existed, was Conor's comment.

Khabib's team has never done a single thing wrong. It's not like they started this rivalry by taking physical action against Lobov in 2018, and Khabib never went on the mic after UFC 205 and called Conor a chicken.

Conor must have started this all because only Conor can do bad things.

After Tony lost to gaethje:

Which one is it?

Do you actually want the answer?

Prior to Tony’s loss to Justin he was overrated and considered by many to be the only man that can defeat Khabib. So to put that in perspective... In Conor’s first tweet Tony was overrated.

After Tony’s loss to Justin many people flipped the script and now consider him washed or simply think he was never all that good in the first place. These people don’t take the time to think about how Tony was stupid and cut weight for a fight he knew wasn’t going to happen then cut weight again soon after to fight Justin; he also didn’t dedicate a full camp towards preparing for Justin, but rather Khabib. So with that being said Conor’s second tweet stating he is underrated is also accurate.

I don't know. It sounds contradictive if in being honest he was never good enough to be elite but at the same time also say this and say he's done being elite now he's underrated?

I don't think there are many people that think Tony loses to the likes of Al iaquinta even if he's not the same. They just don't think he can win against the top 5

It's literally the same shit imo. People think he can beat Chandler. Seems to be a healthy split but people don't think he can beat Conor, Dustin or gaethje

Conrad also called himself a pussy after tapping to Nate. Sometimes in between the coke benders, hookers and piss whiskey the truth comes out.

Artem was the internet gangster talking smack about Khabib, Khabib confronted him in the real World and the rest is history. Get over it.

Conor knows everything about the sport he build. If he says Tony is underrated after Gaethje fight then he is end of story. If you dont agree with him then maybe you should try saying it to his face and see if your head is still on your shoulders after couple nuclear lefts.

I don't think Tony was ever as unbeatable as he was made out to be before the Gaethje loss. And because he lost it doesn't mean he'll lose to everyone. So I don't see the big controversy here. Hittable, droppable, yet good all-around skills, great cardio and tough as nails.

dude tweets like hes a fucking intellectual or something. dude is obnoxious as fuck lol

So over the full cycle he averages out to appropriately rated

No he didn't. He said something like Khabib's dad must not be sick if Islam M was mocking coronavirus.
He should never have even went there.

Tony is overrated indeed... But also McGregor himself. lol
