and let him into your inner circle. I knew something was strange when I saw Ido apart of the team as Conor was getting into the Octagon at UFC 196...

What are the chances Ido is still apart of Conor's camp come his next fight?

I'm thinking zero.

Ido Portal is nothing but a snake in the grass and Conor needs to man up and recognize it.

Conor does what he wants. It cant be detrimental if Conor mentally thinks Ido is helping

Is he the touch butt guy?

Meh he doesnt get injured playing touch i dont think right.

He took Conor's touch butt technique to another level though.

Not sure why people act as if Ido is his strength and conditioning coach, or martial arts coach, he comes for the last few weeks to try and get Conor to loosen up after several weeks of intense training.

I got attacked by connies for suggesting that the was a snake oil salesmen.

Now suddenly conor fans claiming Indo was a mistake.

all that movement nonsense doesn't do nothing, such a waste of time. this isn't dancing with the stars. work on your bjj and ground control, not dancing.

i'm going to go full junior high and say anyone insisting Ido has had a net negative influence on Conor's success as a fighter is a dumby duffy head stupid face. Conor's movement is actually fantastic relatively speaking. IDO had 'ZERO', 'NOTHING', 'NADA' to do with Conor losing to Diaz. It is questionable how much he has actually helped but he most certainly hasn't hurt.

Touch butt in the park got him to the dance, he can't abandon touch butt in the park now.

I think you underestimate how much influence bringing a guy in to loosen up your butt for a few weeks actually has.

The guy is a leech. He even admitted in an interview he hooked up with Conor just because it was a chance to get his "movement" big exposure.

The only reason people think Ido has this major role is because it's something unique and different and the cameras are always focusing on it. I think it's pretty interesting, and it seems like a good way to keep the body fresh and healthy, maybe even a way to decrease the risk of an injury.

Meh. It's not like Ido Portal was training him in any MMA discipline. He's only a movement coach and I don't recall him being recognized or promoted as anything else. It seems Conor is the only one who really takes him seriously though, as every video I've seen of his, all of his teammates are laughing and WTF'ing. He has some pretty impressive control over his body, but I couldn't imagine actually paying someone for that kind of shit. It's mostly bullshit, I'd imagine. Just like Dolce and Sensei. But, Ido adds a sense of the unexpected to Conor's game, which gives the impression that he is uniquely above and beyond other fighters in his approach and discipline. It's all smoke and mirrors.

Ido is the man, International Touchbutt champion fool
