even after the loss i feel Conor is one of the best offensive strikers ever to hit the ufc but his defense leaves alot to be desired

hands down, taunting,no head movement, tries to slips punches and bob his head back and forth like anderson in his prime this shit is gonna catch up to him more than once

the punch nate landed that rocked him wouldn't of been landed by a FW like mendes or edgar due to thier short reach it is like he didn't know nate had 2 inch reach advantage on him

His head movement is some of the best in the UFC, he just drops his hands a lot

Yeah, that showboating, hands down shit will only work for so long. His chin has saved him at the lighter weights when doing that stuff.

Maybe his Cardio and his ego and his jiu jitsu but since your a coach you probably know better. he was ok till he gasses on his feet then panicked and got desperate and went for the takedown and that was his demise. He lost by submission you know that right? He wound up on the ground because of cardio you knew that right?

He wound up on the ground because he went for a takedown after getting tagged several times on the feet.

Conor is pretty hittable. Mendes was landing some solid punches on him despite the fact that he's like 5'6" and could probably fight at 135 if he wanted to.

Conor did everything wrong, not only he put his hands at waist level for the entire fight but he also didnt use his powerfull kicks at all and above that his chin looked weak as a porcelain, and the less i mention his ground game the better. The best punk won

Conor couldn't handle nates reach and cardio.

Lol Conor gets tagged often. Even by Brimmage. Conor just hasn't been touched by a bigger fighter.

I definitely agree that he needs work on defense.

I agree. Nate schooled Conor in defense, pacing, and strategy. He rolled with, blocked, and slipped punches while conserving energy and observing Conor's tendencies.

Nate's 1-2 in the 2nd was not lucky. He had a good idea by then that Conor's uppercut was coming and landed the cleanest punch of the night that was the beginning of the end.

He also got hit by Mendes with some hard shots while his hands were down. If he wants a long healthy career he has to make some adjustments.

His defense isn't so bad. He's hittable but that reach against a man with an effective jab can be hard to overcome. It's especially hard when he's been preparing for a totally different kind of fight prior.

He certainly blew his load and slowed down. That's a death sentence against a Diaz. Even a better defense wouldn't have saved him at that point.

Conor Can't continue to eat shots like this Siver Right Hand.. Frickin Cracked him

Conor needs to train in a lot of areas besides his defense/ground game. He got rocked hard by Nate and would have got KO'd if he didn't become a panic wrestler.

Not looking too good for his chin if Nate Diaz rocks him after one clean shot and it's only going to get worse too.

He'd get lit up in boxing with guys that know how to use footwork and head movement.

his defense is fine. I'm pretty sure he broke a record for making an opponent punch air in the first round. once he got tired all his skills went away. including his bjj. in the first he fended off Nates ground game pretty easily. even pulle a skillful reverse going from bottom to top.
what he needs to start doing is picking his power shots better. work more on his jabs and leg kicks to set up his homerun shots. and limit his round house kicks to one per round.

"Best offensive striker"(why add offensive). anyways, no. Maybe the hardest hitter at FW.

Very predictable. the epitome of that was the Diaz fight. Leading with uppercut's and overhands for 95% of the fight is not wise. McGregor finally faced somone who has decent boxing, and got exposed. No hate.
