We're all talking (including myself) like Conor is going to blast Nate and knock him out early in the fight.
Nate got finished by Thompson yes. But he is still as tough as they come. He has a great chin. And he will not have to cut any weight. What's to say this fight doesn't go the distance? I am starting to think that a decision is probably the most likely outcome. 8 out of 10 of Nates losses are decision... One of the fights he was finished in was way back at WEC 24 (2006) when he was still pretty green and facing an established Hermes Franca (lost do to Armbar) and the other is the Josh Thompson tko..

Not a very bold prediction but I am predicting this fight goes the full 5 rounds.

Conor gets a 49-46 UD on all score cards

If RDA didn't put the fight to the ground he would get a finish.

The only thing for certain is this fight will not go to a decision.

I think Nate wins it, no matter how it ends. If Conor doesn't finish him, unless they paid the judges off I don't see how Conor wins.

Nate is going into this fight with virtually no camp and all McGregor's fights, bar one, have been finished within the first two.

    Regardless...

Nate is one of the toughest SOB's on the entire roster.
McGregor is in for one hell of a fight if he is gonna finish Diaz early in this one

Neither will happen. Conor picks his shots. Nate spams the pitter patter. But the volume kills dudes. Nate is fucking durable. He isnt knocked down very often and he is not going to be finished easily. If dropped, Conor will be jumping into a fucking nasty guard.

Conor needs a walk off home run or he will lose the fight.

Diaz is bigger man if diaz had full camp the odds would be close i think. The line is sitting around 4 to 1 there's some value in diaz 100%

That would be epic but I don't think Herb will let the fight go on if Nate gets dropped.

Sure hope not. Someone needs to be KTFO or CTFO in this fight for the glory of Satan of course.

Well the fact he's on short notice is very important; there's no chance he can go 5 rounds especially against a guy like McGregor who will use that to his advantage via body kicks. Nate's tough, no doubt, but this fight will finish within the first two.

I would imagine Nate will want to stand & trade as is his style. If he does so, I cannot see him lasting five rounds with Conor.

So I'm going to say Conor by KO/TKO last 2nd early 3rd.

Conor can't go in all guns blazing, I'm a McGregor fan but he really needs to be careful with Diaz. If Conor goes in for the T/KO there will be trouble, because one fuck up and if he ends up on the floor Diaz will school him.

That was the only fight I've been to live. And this will be my second. Only difference is I like conor just as much as nate so win win.
