is supposedly MCG's sports psychologist.

You wouldn't think Conor's the kind of guy who'd need a sports psychologist. Does anyone know of any interviews where MCG has spoken about this?

I know he's talked about the law of attraction and all that sort of stuff in many interviews, but has he talked specifically about working with a sports psychologist anywhere? (I'd appreciate a link if you have it)

the best shit talkers are often the same people that are affected by insecurities they espouse onto others and use bravado as a shield to the outside world.

Who needs a psychologist to go to work outside of taking lives

ive listened to the podcasts.. He was with conor, as with everyone on the team.. But conor started to drift off quickly, only talking to him once in a while. But it was all conor, and he said Conor is probably the most mentally strong fighter on the roster.. But he mentioned other fighters aswell to have very strong mental game.

I've only ever heard Mullins talk about working with Conor at a group session way back - not sure if he still does. He has talked about working with fighters from SBG and other ones he doesn't name.

I think Conor believes in the work that he puts in to prepare not just himself.

Sports psychologists are viewed as a weakness, when in fact it can take a normal fighter to new levels of confidence and belief in themselves, and instill a powerful work ethic in them as well.

Sometimes everyone is born with the physical tools, but most people on the planet are not born with the mental fortitude it takes to get to the top of whatever profession they are trying to excel at.

We all saw the night and day transformation that Chael went through, and as many people want to give all credit to trt, a big part of it was his sports psychologist as well.

If you listen to what Conor says about other fighters you'll notice that most of it applies to him. I mean, you have a smaller than average Irish guy making fun of smaller guys and calling them out for leaving their countries. It's not a surprise he talks with a sport psychologist.
