Conor McGregor's (3) 2016 PPVs did more buys than all 2017 UFC PPVs combined

vBXRiPN.jpg

196 does 700k buys if McGregor fought RDA.

205 was selling over 1 million without Conor

202 sold the way it did because of Diaz, not Conor

So much delusion. Wow.

............. he doesn't get that 100 mill boxing fight if it wasn't for MMA/UFC.
Than how come noone else in the ufc can get that fight.

Stop trying to diminish a goat. You are gonna be on the wrong side of history.

Yes I agree that Nate will give Conor the biggest PPV's you dont understand my point, he is only a draw against conor because Nate was able to win and had some nice antics up his sleeve, yeah I think before 196 Nate did win the shit talking, yeah conor did follow suit with Nate by getting in new training partners and elite conditoing coaching and yeah he got on the bicycle like nate does, yeah the bottle/can throwing was the biggest thing before the fight but THIS ALL GOES IF CONOR WASN'T THERE, Conor has shown he can do it on his own, Nate hasn't and never will there is a reason he only wants to fight against Conor because he know's he is on his A game when promoting that fight.

When has Conor shown that he can do it on his own? Other than the Nate PPV's, he's had multiple title fights on all of his PPV's. He's had all the marketing and publicity, so when has he shown that he can do it on his own?

How much did you pay for your Zuffa stock?Dorks lol

how many PPV's did chad mendes, aldo, nate and alvarez sell before fighting conor, there are a lot of variables here but there is always one constant in these big PPV's and that constant is conor mcgregor. These guys do no PPV's then they fight Conor and that PPV is huge, so yeah I would conclude from this that Conor does it on his own and is by far the biggest contributing factor in these PPV's selling so well.

Chad Mendes... Lol all of 2 weeks to promote, yet Diaz has less time and bam, 1.3 million.

And until you can see the difference in promotion from Conor to anyone else, you can't say he's done anything on his own. From commercials, to billboards, to pressers, Conor does nothing on his own.

And Diaz has headlined 2 PPV's in his career, both have done 1.3+ million. He's never done under 1 million, Conor has...

Showtime makes more in one quarter than the UFC does in a year. Who cares unless you somehow got UFC stock.

The biggest star in MMA history is asking to be paid his worth

And MMA """fans""" can't stand it

These are Dave Meltzer reported. The industry standard.

The truth may hurt but that doesn't make it wrong.

Dave Meltzer > a shit-posting meme'er on a message board

If AAA tier MMA fighters can't be compensated fairly, future athletes will turn to other sports.

The future talent pool of MMA hinges on fighter pay. Boxing had to have federal legislation step in (the Ali Act) to make revenue splits fair for fighters.

Why would the future Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder or Tyson Fury want to compete for the UFC world title, if they can sell less PPVs for less money, be less famous and still make substantially more money competing in boxing.

The biggest star in MMA history is asking to be compensated fairly

And MMA """fans""" can't stand it / don't see his point

I'm no longer sure if SherDorks are willfully ignorant or frighteningly stupid
<TrumpWrong1><{clintugh}>

Money does not equate the best talent. There will always be fighters that want to win purely for the love of competition, and MMA will be their sport. A true competitor does not pick their sport because it paid the most. Only casual shertards believe things work this way.

Oh, and Conor has sold peanuts in the big scheme of things. This is from the wiki page for ppv. I don't see Connie anywhere on here. I do see guys from the 80s and 90's that are killing him.

The leading PPV attraction, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has generated approximately 19.5 million buys and $1.3 billion in revenue. Manny Pacquiao, ranked second, has generated approximately 19.2 million buys and $1.2 billion in revenue.[10][11]Oscar De La Hoya, has "sold" approximately 14 million units in total, giving $700 million in domestic television receipts and stands third. In fourth place in buys, Evander Holyfield has achieved 12.6 million units ($550 million); and at fifth, Mike Tyson has reached 12.4 million units ($545 million).[12]

<LikeReally5><{gspressed}>

There were guys selling over a million before Conor; and their will be ones after. He is in no position to demand shit when he's essentially retired and losing popularity by the day.

I am a fan of Mcgregor. What I said is true. Don't try to deny facts. You will end up on the wrong side.

If we are talking Conor vs UFC then the Mayweather PPV should count as well.

mystic UL has spoke about dave meltzer in the past

he's known for fake news
he's a fraud
Agreed.

Chael Sonnen has gone on record saying that Meltzer was "way off" for the ppvs that Chael got a piece of

Meltzer, a known clickbait enthusiast, who charges money from gullible fools to listen to his 'news', is not a valid source for ppv numbers.

His predictions are speculative, and should be treated as such.

Only on this Conor hating circle jerk could there be a multiple page thread about how McGregor doesn't deserve the money he makes. Khabib takes half a year off every year but Conor can't take months to negotiate the biggest contract in MMA history. Some """fans""" on this forum are pathetic.

If Conor was a boxer, he would sign upwards of 20 million guarantees
