Paulie has said that the McGregor camp has reached out to him to spar Conor.
He said they are currently working out the details to get them together.

I'm excited for this. Can't wait to see Malignaggi tooling him around.
Its also a plus that Malignaggi will be working the fight and will be one of the only few people who can give a real critique of McGregors boxing skills
 
I love Paulie for telling it like it is, but I have hard time thinking he's going to be brutally honest for this fight, what is he going to say? I toyed McGregor and Floyd is going to box circles around him? As part of the Showtime crew Paulie is going to have sell this fight and that means he's going to ride McGregor's dick a little bit

Yea he'll give you the truth still but he'll follow up with McGregor being better than he thought but no where near the level he needs to be at to fight Floyd.
Im just looking forward to seeing the sparring videos.
 
I doubt we'll ever see any sparring video of Conor leaked.
They aren't stupid.

This plus I'd bet they make Paulie sign some sort of non-disclosure agreement. I'm surprised Conor and his team are even looking to bring a real boxer in for sparring. Paulie can't be good for their confidence going in to this fight

i think they need to at least appear like they're seriously preparing for this fight.

that said, conor could spar with every current champion in every division for 6 months and it still wouldn't make any difference whatsoever.
 
I like paulie (I think most of us brits do) and I think it's a good move by McGregor. Technically he is a fantastic boxer but he isn't likely to hurt Connor. He needs to be sparring world class fighters, not talented amateurs, though at the end of the day it will make little difference what he does.
 
This is the best move Conor can make if he wants to get himself in a position to have a decent showing. Paulie can box, he can probably imitate some of the things Floyd does, and he can give Conor some bits of mental advice on how pros fight.

Youd be surprised. If Paulie is trying to hurt Conor he can. I also saw Paulie said he's going to work with him on the boxing game. Sort of coaching.
 
Paulie manages to fit Floyd's whole dick down his throat while ranting like a lunatic - I don't know why you'd be interested to hear from him.

Don't get me wrong, Floyd is an easy top ATG; Paulie just never shuts the fuck up about it then sprinkles in stupid shit about how he, himself, would beat Pac - like there's some sort of osmosis between him fellating May and gaining the ability to beat his opposition.

Except when it comes to Pacquiao, who he has some irrational hatred for, Paulie is one of the best commentators in the business.
