I don’t understand why they released this footage, this is Mac Life, his own channel

If he did have a fracture and threw that many kicks in the real fight, why do you think he wouldn't throw them in training as well? Especially when he has shin guards on. Fighters train over injuries all the time

Ya or hes a lying P.O.S and broke his leg with a stupid game plan of blasting kicks into dustin right off the bat....

Canner needs to slowly disappear, Homer gif style from the sport

He is a distraction and detriment to those who train with fury and dedication for victory and success without the

unending personal, ego driven need for attention, often without the deliverance of convincing success by him.

So the guy wasn't a liar but just dumb as bricks?

Joanna was throwing leg kicks with her right shin sparring in pre-camp like 3-5 weeks after peeling the skin back on the same leg after missing a box jump to a point where the wound started to bleed so she had to stop.

Fighters do things they really shouldn't do. Go figure.

One of the biggest talking points after the 2nd fight at ufc 257 was the fact that Conor didn't throw kicks. When it's south paw vs south paw, the main kicks to throw are leg kicks or a switch kick to the body.

So he was either going to enter the 3rd fight and focus on boxing again, possibly lose, and then have fans wonder why he didn't kick.

Or he kicks and maybe injures himself in the fight

It's not like he's a heavy wrestler who can just switch up his entire gameplan in 1 fight

LMAO, it's like he dropped his counter style for a more aggresive style which, it didn't worked shit.

Instead of working up his style to match what Dustin did, he just thought, "hey, let's be aggresive with lots of leg kicks". Also, look at his TD, the sparring partner just dropped like nothing and we know who went down first.

Awful gameplan from the start.
I’ve said it going back to the Stipe vs DC trilogy. You can’t train for your last fight. You have to train for your next fight.

If you’re focusing mostly on body shots (DC), or leg kicks (Conor). Then all your opponent has to do is add a twist, and you’re at a disadvantage.

In Conor’s case it was actually probably more about ego. Since he lost by leg kicks, he had to try to get it back. Just like every loss he’s had in the UFC. I’d be surprised at this point if it isn’t in the contract that if you beat him. You have to give him an instant rematch.

Conor is his own worst enemy now.

honestly Conor never had an active enough jab that he could control the distance as would be necessary to fully impose his striking game.

He used to train in Taekwondo. Its an amazing art if done right with a proper teacher. You develop speed and cardio. The bounce tires you out but you can develop it to the point that it becomes natural and it will not lead to fatigue.

Damn, this is a cool video. Too bad this guy is gone... If he could get back to this, that would be incredible

That looks pretty bad.

His leg kicks have no set ups at all.. He's just plotting forward, few slips here and there and that's it

He always does stance switching in his training videos but never found a way to apply it in his real fights. He's just not comfortable enough to fight in orthodox stance in a real fight. He has very limited move set which he isn't confident throwing from that stance. That's why every time he has switched stance in a real fight he switches back quick because he knows he is too weak in that stance to offer and real offense or defense.

He needs to take up the offer from Canelo's team and train his boxing there for like 6 months and not just come in for a week. If he wants a pressure forward style he needs to learn how to fight on the inside. Canelo's team can teach him that. They can also improve his actual power punching technique, since Canelo's team knows how to properly throw power punches.
Noooo stay away from boxing. Get with an MMA camp/trainer to improve his game. Boxing is what changed his style in the first place.

Who cares, @Tomas.

Conor broke his leg, your post is a subtle excuse.

You and the rest of your nuthuggers are slowly trying to find subtle ways to make a excuse for the reason.

This makes total sense. A post about sparring footage with cliffs about what happens in the video are clearly "excuses".

He thought he's a boxer. He never went back to his style....His Karate stance, counter, speed attack style....This is why he wont ever win again unless its against Chumps.
Conman only could apply dam* kratie hottie style against midget lol

No he needs better boxing. That's his problem, he's boxing based but his boxing hasn't improved while other fighters boxing skills have. He used to be the best boxer in mma, that isn't the case anymore. His style relies heavily on him being the better mma boxer. So he definitely needs to improve his boxing. Work on other stuff, but his boxing has become a weakness for him instead of strength since his boxing combos/patterns has been figured out. Plus he's not a devastating puncher above 145. He tries to use a power punching fighting style, he needs to learn proper power punching from Canelo's team. That and he needs an inside boxing game because that has always been his weakness that he has never addressed because before Dustin exploited it in mma only Floyd Mayweather exploited that weakness in boxing. Nate exploited it a bit in the 2nd fight but wasn't able to get the win off it. Floyd fight was the fight that made it clear he has a weakness boxing on the inside.
