If wrestling was taken out of the octogan, anybody seriously think mendez could last past a round in a striking battle with conor? because he could go 5 rounds on the feet comfortably with aldo, all these guys are around the same level with aldo being slightly better, connor seems to be light years ahead of the pack.

couldn't agree more. Dennis Siver should not have been a title eliminator fight period. Ridiculous ball massage by Dana to slide Conor in to the title shot and himself into some bigger paydays.

Off topic, but it makes me sad for Rory MacDonald. Dude was on a winning streak, dominating everyone and then they put him against Lawler. Even now, they are bypassing him again. He'll probably go through the entire WW division before he gets a shot at the title.

There's something to be said about having a big mouth in the UFC.

Winning fights is supposed to get you a title shot???
