He’s much slower than he used to be. If these were the highlights of his training session Cowboy is going to put a beating on him.

Nah. He is training. And doing good form.

You guys wanna see slow?? Here is my old ass on the heavybag

I'd like your post if it wasn't for my dubs lol, anyways cheers bro, you are one of the more reasonable Conor supporters that I've seen on this board, and atleast you have fight experience. I can respect that.

Thanks man. This video confirm that he have a different fight stance now. I think maybe the Mayweather fight made him change some things. Not ulike what canelo did after Floyd fought him.

I like his energy. He seem glad and happy.

And he dont look slow to me.
Agreed. I just hope he did not mess with a proven successful formula for MMA - his karate/boxing formula worked great for MMA and aint no way he was ever beating May at his art and craft. His energy is excellent tho and he seems to be moving better, and look better, than before the Khabib fight or really anytime since maybe the pre Holloway fight where he was just a kid enjoying the big show. I think the expectations thrust on him made him put on a face that was not necessarily him, maybe now he can relax and just bang bro.

Not all that impressed. Cowboy has pretty straight punches that would light up Conor at those ranges. Conor needs to stick to his bread and butter which in that straight left.
An angle over looked may be that his he broke his left hand. I wonder if he lost any power owing to it or focused more on other assets since her could not use it for about a half year. Many questions with this fight and I expect a different Conor, no idea if its will be better tho. He looked garbage in the sparring footage after the Khabib fight, like he became a shell style brawler boxer.

Looking very clean in there. Lots of power and looking quite quick as well

3rd Conor thread of the day, christ almighty

So this is the footage we'll be analysing just over a week from now, when conor claims he lost because he had a stroke two weeks out and lost 70% of his motor skills.

ME BRANE WAS A BOWL OF PORRIDGE! ME MOUTT WAS DROOPEN TO DA LEFT

nuthugger nerve specialists will cut gifs from this clip

Hmmm some new shots combs, body work and lots of llateral movement instead of only in and out. Also I see his hands coming back to the head to block high kicks which is good. Imo he look good, bit slower couse he is bigger but tighter. Bit gassy but it might be for clip/hard work purposes tho he finished with all day/push ups formula.
He looks focused, much less neurotic. Lets see.

Conor looking sharp and deadly, this will be quick.

What's interesting is that he has brought his childhood boxing coach with him. That old guy holding pads is Philip Sutcliffe Sr. from Crumlin boxing gym.

He's not well-known or renowned or anything like that. Just interesting that someone from such an early part of his career is in the camp. Maybe it is serious training or maybe he is just trying to 'give back' to the guy who got him started. I think he has some regrets that he didn't involve his early boxing coaches in the Mayweather camp. I don't know. He has spent more and more time in his first boxing gym lately, sparring the kids, doing charity bouts etc.

I also think that he does seem to lack a bit of dynamic there.

Could be the circumstances. Maybe he already had a couple of rounds done before that.

Body work is an obvious and good choice against Cowboy though. He is long and skinny and has shown to be quite vulnerable there.

The fight will be interesting to see but it is tailor-made for Conor. If he does look anything less than spectacular then this would really indicate a decline.

I'm still waiting to see someone reverse sweep their opponent Liu Kang style.

Also, I see lots of use of the right hand.

IDK if it's the same thing as you mean but chris clements landed a really awesome reverse leg sweep on wonderboy early in that fight. honestly can't recall seeing another one and i've seen almost all ufc fights.

The Dj makes it look like training in the middle of a fun fair...

He looks much slower to me, especially the feet, he used to look so agile and nimble on his feet, I'm not sure what his game plan is, maybe coming in heavy is a strategy maybe his his game plan isn't focused as much on foot work and he's going for power but to me he looks heavy and slow. I am however excited to see him back, really looking forward to this fight.

At least proper music was on. Da Hool - Meet her at the loveparade. Gosh these were the times.

This is the new MDMA Mcgregor rather than the old coke Mcgregor.

I don't think it's an new striking style, Tomas.
I think that's just his boxing stance.

He looks as fluid as ever and quite similar to when he kicked the crap out of Nate Diaz and Eddie Alvarez.

So a majority decision is considered kicking the crap out of someone now?
