Conor did eventually catch up to him and became the #1 highest paid athlete in the world, Ronaldo coming in 3rd.

Gotta give it to Conor, he may not be a p4p best like Jon Jones or Anderson Silva, but his business acumen is something we should look up to, that's for sure.

The fact that an athlete who's nowhere near the top of his sport is the highest paid amongst a list of top athletes pretty much shows that Conor fans aren't really fans of the sport.

Maybe Conor is a top 5 LW.

But we don't know that because he keeps fighting guys like Khabib and Dustin. who are the number 1 LW.

At that point he was, i doubt he is still among the top paid athletes and surely is far from the top of his sport.

Not only could Michael Jordan teach Conor how to be a real businessman, he could buy him and his entire fucking bloodline.

Jordan made more just off of endorsements last year alone than Conor earned in all his revenue sources combined. Jordan didn't even have to break the law for likes, followers or publicity either.

Forbes calculated these annual earnings in a weird way. Ronaldo and Messi's income is being calculated as Salary + Sponsorships . Whereas for Conor they also counted the sale of Proper 12 ($150mn) which should come under category of investments. Both Ronaldo and Messi have been earning $100mn+ continuously for the last 10 years & Nobody knows how many investments they've made all this while & what they've done with it and that isn't included here.

Forbes followed no proper methodology here .

You could say that about every athlete ever lol

Calling Mcgregor the highest paid athlete is misleading.

Well Jordan is a whole different level than any current athlete

One thing about Conor you can't deny is the dude was revolutionary in making money as an MMA fighter, despite the fact he made the majority of his money outside of MMA.

The way he was laughing in the video clip though. Wtf...

To bad money can't buy you humbleness or sincerity
