Really sucks for Chiesa that his fight got cancelled. Hopefully he gets a hefty settlement out of it. But for Anthony Pettis, this is the best thing for his career that could have happened.

Pettis has lost 5 out of his last 7, and unless he got a lucky KO, he would have gotten completely tooled and besmirched by Chiesa. The UFC would almost certainly have cut him after Saturday. Now, he may get an easier opponent next fight and prolong his career just a little. Otherwise, he would have been looking at Bellator or One FC.
