video was posted before Aldo fight, but recorded after or before Holloway
Conor "shouldn't have answered the phone" - to say in his own words, he has nothing for WW's. He can be dominant champ at FW, LW is still a question, but WW is too much for him, imo
I told a friend if Nate beats Conor, then, no way should he go to WW. I would really fear for him if he fought wonderboy. Forget it dude.
Anyways, what is funny is how people now say he is less of a fighter? First off, He fought in 2 weight divisions above. What do think would happen to GSP fighting at LHW? Or Weidman fighting at HW? Or Silva fighting at HW? Nate can fight in both, at WW I say he is top 10 ...somewhere. At LW, top 5. Perhaps his game is stepped up?
My point, is he still dominated his own division. That is his division. He wanted a challenge and went for RDA. He is the man dude. Like, who puts it on the line like him? Respect, even if you hate.
Anyways, what I have learned in this. Is he should stay at 145 like anderson silva stayed at 185. Yes, play it comfortable. Conor is that great, he can play in comfortable at 145. He is the best at that division. He will destroy everyone there. Just watch...Sorry Frankie but losing to Nate does not translate into you beating him.
However, I think now, at the Go Big Conference, he was stepping too high. He should have never called RDA out and Donald Cerrone. However, I could be wrong? Maybe 155 is not too high for him? But, Nate is in that division and Conor has a problem with bigger people.
What I saw in that fight, is a man who gassed way too fast. Ken Shamrock taught us everything not to do. Like, big muscles on roids and moving up. Ken would gas all the time. Conor, unusually, gassed in that fight in the 2nd round. With the added muscle, it worked against him. Conor is well at 145, not sure at 155? Conor was 168 at the weigh ins, so he couldn't even make weight but gesture about his big stomach was full. He had a short short gas tank in comparison to what we have seen in the past. Just watch his fights at 145. At 155, will he have that extra muscle? Which leads to a gas tank shortage? All I can say is he looked bad. He was winning, then, gassed, got hit, and just went for the take down, and submitted. He gassed. I would like to see him fight at 155 but work his way up, cause, a rematch with Nate at 155? no, I think not. I rather see if Conor can have the same gas tank at 155 as with 145 before he thinks of a rematch with Nate. I do believe he can beat RDA, only, cause Conor does well against people he has a longer reach on. But, Nate is long and tall. If he can show a gas tank at 155, then, a rematch would be nice but epic if Conor wins. It will be in Nates favor to win.
