I'm not here to defend his actions because honestly I think he's acting like a total tool right now. But I'm just curious why the haters bash his fans and that they are, "nut huggers" or whatever but they are the ones making 10,000 posts about him. I see 10x more posts criticizing him then anyone doing nut hugging. There are popular fighters that I don't like inside or outside the cage but I don't obsess over it by making posts. I just think it's ironic that the ones who hate him the most like talking about him the most. Fully prepared for haters to come out of the woodwork to comment and post gifs to validate everything.

Honestly, I like to watch him fight. He's a very skilled striker who has abused a reach advantage and KO power to great heights. However, this losing thing isn't working out for him so well, so it's nice to see his fanbase shrink and him squirm a little. You reap what you sow.

You may be good, since you're a good fan. However, your dedication isn't indicative of the majority of the fanbase and what it was before that event. To claim is was would be plain stupid, or you'd have to be disingenuous. You know better than that. I'm all for people backing their fighters. You're right, everyone will lose and their fans should stick around. A lot of Conor's didn't at all.

yeah every fighter gains fairweather fans when they win all the time, losing shows the true fans from the fakes. Also its hardly palatable.... some of it is far worse than any of the stupid stuff the Conor fans ever used to post. Same with the Ronda hate, its ridiculous but because they are as big as they are its understandable to a degree

I suppose it is subjective. I agree. Still, I've never seen so many out of nowhere fans pop up and just starting spewing utter shit, while long term posters jumped on the wagon too and did the same. It was rampant. It was everywhere. To imply that the backlash of it isn't deserved is somewhat hilarious. All of the perpetual crap that everyone doled out at every turn when he knocked out Aldo and beat Mendes was horrid. All of his fans and Conor himself deserved the hate.

The fact that the fanbase continually lambasted other fighters for doing the things that Conor did while being cheered around here exacerbates it.
