I don't see the similarity, aside from them both using a heavy bag. Besides, Wilder is throwing power, and McGregor is pitter patting with way more meeuuvement.

Conor has fought higher competition than D Wilder though.

Can you explain what you mean by "higher competition"?

Conor is a horrific boxer in all honesty. That bag work is horrendous.

Wilder isn’t very good technically at the elite level, but at least he can sit down on his punches and bang. Conor genuinely paws at the heavy bag like a little kitten.

And the way they hit the bag is nothing alike.

Look at those 2 quick hooks Floyd answers with.
Holy hell that short clip just shows the absurd difference between the two.

I've always felt Wilder's record is padded... With the exception of a handful most of his fights have been against bums. He finally got tested with Fury, and if it wasn't for the knockdown he would've lost the first fight. And he got embarrassed in the second one...

To this day it still surprises me people try to justify Wilder is a good boxer just because he is a professional boxer, was champ, and knocking people out. At the end of the day he’s a good puncher with terrible fundamentals. He’s been getting better as of late though but obviously wasn’t good enough to beat Fury.

Some good traits: Great puncher, fast, reactive, explosive, and surprisingly unpredictable as he throws awkward punches from awkward angles similar to Maidana.

Hes a good fighter, just not a good boxer in terms of boxing.

Oh and between the two videos I rather my students look like Conor did than how Wilder did. Both weren’t good but easier problems to fix with Conor. (Not saying he’s a better boxer)

This Tidwell moron should just stick to only hating on Pacquiao. Getting better at it seems a liitle bit less stupid.

Another one who simply has no idea what they actually saw. It amazes me that even now, some people simply can’t see through the charade.

I’ll add you the growing list of people on Sherdog who have never trained at a legit fight gym in their lives.
