Media Conor McGregor: A Return to Ground Zero at UFC 246

Here's a piece I did on Conor McGregor ahead of his fight with Cowboy fight. I've posted a few of these videos, in this video essay style, on Sherdog in the past, and lots of people seemed to dig them. So hope you'll like this one.



The premise of the video came to me after reading a piece by Chuck Mindenhall in which he called the fight with Cerrone "the first de-escalation of his [McGregor] career since he became champ". And I found that to be an astute observation but I also realised that it was sort of why I like the fight.

I'm Irish, as you'll notice, so we have a particular opinion of Conor right now. So I address that as well.

it's good actually. not a massive dick lick by any means. Seems very objective and just taking about everything from the time he beat Aldo to this fight. Pretty good stuff.
