Conor McGregor "145 guys crumble with those shots, it was harder to hurt a bigger man"

Nate was a bad fight to take. I thought McGregor might have the power to end it in the first, but you can't bank on putting a Diaz down.

LOL, yeah! And he crumbled fighting a man his own size.

He's right actually, most at 145lbs would have crumbled with the shots Conor landed, the only person who probably wouldn't is "the answer".

Connor fought someone his own size and didn't look impressive at all.

Wild how that works.

Conor just discovered the hot water.
Very good, Conor, one step at a time.

Mcgregor showed how arrogance can be one of the worst attributes. I can understand want to go up to 155 and fight bigger guys, but the size difference for 170 is massive.

You know what is crazy ...even though I don't think RDA would have stood with Conor that long he may have been dropped by some of those shots Nate just has an amazing chin like his brother and Diego

And all he did is fight an out of shape 155er; both chose not to cut and diaz was only a pound heavier.

Kind of funny that so many people who predicted a first round knockout suddenly always knew what a dangerous fight this was. I guess they were just saving up that insight for after the fight!

But yeah, hitting 145ers is not the same as hitting guys at 170 who regularly face power punchers. I was surprised Nate won so early though. I thought for him to win he would have to weather the storm and wait for his punches to add up in the championship rounds. A great performance by Nate.

His analysis has been pretty good. What he is missing is that, the first time he got touched clean, he was rocked. I think that is troubling. He was still resilient in that he came back with combinations, but his ability to take a shot did not appear to be elite.

???

He fought a LW. Neither of them really cut any weight for this fight is all.

From a physics perspective, what's the difference between a guy weighing 169 - 180 and a guy weight 145 - 155 taking a blow to the head from a guy the same size?

There's something missing in that logic

Did connar troll himself there??

Back to fighting midgets lol

Respect tho to the lower divisions I actually love them

its funny cuz conor is the biggest FW in the UFC

as soon as he fights someone "bigger" (they weighed the exact same - neither of them cut weight) he gets wrecked

If you go back and look at the punch that rocked him, he created a lot of that force because he was trying to throw that uppercut. Diaz sent his head back in the other direction, causing that "whip" effect which is probably was jumbled his brain. It's not like he was just standing there and took a hard shot and died.
