Nurmagomedov defeated Abel Trujillo on 25 May 2013 at UFC 160 via unanimous decision. At the weigh-ins, Nurmagomedov came in over the permitted limit, weighing in at 158.5 lb. He was given two hours to cut to the lightweight maximum of 156 pounds, but elected instead to surrender a percentage of his fight purse to Trujillo and the bout was contested at a catchweight.

Nurmagomedov (24-0) was transported to the hospital in the early hours Friday morning after falling ill while cutting weight. The undefeated Dagestani was treated and discharged, according to UFC officials, and the fight was called off due to “doctor’s recommendation.”

The bout with Ferguson was scheduled for a third time at UFC 209 on 4 March 2017 for the interim Lightweight Championship. Nurmagomedov, however, fell ill because of a botched weight cut, and the bout was cancelled as a result.

What does this tell us?

Conor died to make 145 and he was big there in fairness. Khabib is big for LW but Conor is a decent sized LW and has power across weight divisions

Struggled*

Khabib hasn't had any problems since early 2018. He made weight vs. Iaquinta, Barboza, McGregor and Poirier very easily.

I think you mean

Conor struggled to make 145, Khabib struggles to make 155

You make it sound like Conor got to 145 easy

That Khabib didnt knew shit on how to cut weight and/or he didnt had the commitment that Conor had back then, it isnt like Khabib is a WW killing himself to make LW, like Conor was a LW making 145lbs, i mean, he was able to, but his weigh-in build was night and day against his fight night build, that doesnt happen with Khabib.

One had a good nutritionist, and the other didn't even have nutritionist.

Conor was a literal skeleton at 145 weigh ins

Both Conor and Dana have said that the cut to 55 is difficult for Conor. Conor claims to walk around in the low 160s but there is visual evidence of him 160 looking significantly smaller than he does today. Now Conor doesn’t want to fight at 155. What does that tell us?

He did early on, was only the last 2 or 3 were tougher and he did the honourable thing and moved up.

TS should just change his screen name to something about Conor. He's off one bandwagon and onto another.

Not to mention, despite all the weightmissing, he continuously refuse to move up lol

This is Probably what Kebabs nightmare looks like

But why move up if he has no troubles now? He hired a nutritionist after he fell ill vs. Ferguson in 2018. Now he is smarter with it and makes weight in ample time.

Although, I do think Usman is a horrible match for him.

Khabib cuts over 45lbs to make 155 and fight smaller men. Conor exposed Khabib at the press conference and called him a rat:

Yes, and Conor is judged at a much higher standard than Khabib. Poeple claim Conor is overrated for losing to Khabib, yet Conor is the one that moved up a weight class to fight his worst matchup.

Khabib hasn't even fought his worst matchups in his own division, much less would he ever dream of fighting those a weight class up. Heck, he won't even fight his own personal DREAM FIGHT against a fucking FORTY YEAR OLD GSP at 170. He won't even fight him at 165. He wants him to cut to 155 for the first time in his life at age 40.

Can you imagine if Conor did that when he was on top at 145?! Calling out 40 year old 155ers to cut to 145 for the first time ever to face him.

Heck Conor would fight GSP at 170 right now, he would not demand he cut to 155.

conrad has the balls to fight at ww. something that khabib is afraid to do
