I didn't click on the link, but there's video of the guy saying it.

Sure, why wouldn't an ex member of Mayweather's team say one of his buddies KO'd Conor. I bet there'll be more 'stories' coming out about sparring and every other thing associated with the fight.

Right, there is a source, but it's still hearsay with no given basis for the original source. We don't know how many layers of telephone went on before Vargas heard it. As you know, everytime a story is told, the fish gets bigger.
 
Why the fuck would they let that out if it's true?---Not Vargas, but the sparring partner in the first place.

If it's not true, all they're doing is damaging the buyrate. The marks need to believe Conor has a chance.

This is exactly why I was telling people that Floyd could easily KO or TKO Conor if he wanted to

He only fights defensive because he boxes against world class boxers so he has to. He doesn't have to be defensive against Conor

Conor only makes it to decision if Floyd wants him to
 
They say this going into every fight. If it happened they won't talk about it. If Conor is smart he WILL take some shots though just to get used to being hit again, the last thing you want to do is do a Ronda-esque training camp where you don't actually get hit (and then freeze as soon as you take a real shot in the actual fight)

Mate, I bet it's complete bollocks.

Every sparring partner up to this point has given an interview or talked to an MMA site - which raises their profile - same as when Conor brought in Conor Wallace for the Diaz fight, he was doing media a lot when he was in Dublin.

Plus, in the video, Vargas says; "he would have knocked him out if he did" (spar him) If it did happen and there was some confidentially agreement drawn up, then I would think he'd be in trouble. And if not, I find it hard to believe if it happened for it to come out that way.

I've never heard of the guy before - but if he was brought into camp, he went in, sparred, knocked Conor out, then flew back to the States, but told his mate in private or whomever else that passed it on to Vargas.
 
This "knocking out" would've happened while Conor was in Ireland. Dumb and dumber in the video wouldn't have heard about it. And Conor's Irish sparring partners are well known and they've just spoken in praise of him.

Exactly. They don't want it taking away buys from Canelo GGG etc. It's all about HBO/Golden Boy vs Showtime/TMT - @ $100 a pop on 8/26 means that way less people will be buying Nelo/GGG on 9/16.

And again, this same guy said he was KO'd last year....possibly trying to drive down Conor value in making Flloyd fight so one of his buddies could get it. There r just so many angles and sparring partner could be sued for a shat ton. Something tells me if Conor spars Van Heerden in public that he ain't gettin' KO'd by a MMA journeyman w/ head gear.....and plus, Conor's chin is solid, been hit with bombs and never rocked. He got exhausted vs Diaz & wobbled a sec but that was it.

Assuming this is true, then it is very possible Floyd ko's Conrad. If slow ass Brandon Rios can catch him, Floyd is def lighting him up.<Oku02>

But yes, could be fake and or purposefully leaked false information. If Brandon Rios himself leaked the info, he prob is not going to be in camp anymore or might have leaked because he ko'd McGregor and he was asked to leave.

Guess it's wait and see, for now.
