People were calling broner the next mayweather and saying that he was unstoppable. Mostly got so much attention through his antics and mouth as soon as he faced a B level opponent in Maidana he was knocked down multiple times and soundly defeated.

I can't believe people here actually believe Conor will run through Aldo like a hot knife through butter. That Aldo has never face a striker like Conor.. WRONG! Conor never faced a striker like Aldo or even a legit wrestler.I think Conor like Broner will be demolished then everyone who supported him will instantly come to the forums to clown him and like broner he will be relegated to taking low opposition..

Let's be real here guys

Its good comparison and i'm not buying the hype. Conor has nothing for Aldo.
 
And another similarity is both fighters looked spectacular against lesser fighters, and also showed some flaws in their fighting style.

Broner, no movement, and overatted defense.

Conor, his style gets hit him cleanly, and he's not exactly a defensive responsible fighter. There's not respecting your opponents power, and flat out sticking your chin straight up in the air when you attack.

Mayweather is a undefeated, 47-0, multimillionaire. What he'll make in his next fight alone is more than Conor will most likely make his entire career. They don't belong in the same sentence together
 
Conor hasn't done enough to be mentioned in the same sentence as Broner.

I'll admit my wife and I bought into the hype.. The night of the maidana fight I was rushing home from work to catch the fight live on the drive I was thinking of who has broner fought vs who has maidana fought I thought back to ortiz fight and had a moment of clarity and knew then he would get run down by maidana if he barely squeaked by Paulie and ponce de Leon who are C level fighters

Same exact situation with Conor except instead of facing a b level fighter he jumped all the way to A

This is gonna be ugly boys believe me. Conor is gonna get lit up

Kudos to the UFC this is how you are suppose to build stars...

We know Conor hasn't faced serious competetion

We know he never fought a wrestler

We know he would most likely lose

But when you put a fighter against low level guys for him to destroy and build him up to be a monster he isn't people pay attention..

Creates this exact rift we have.. The logical people and the insane gullible people who say Conor bless and try to justify their belief that he will win

I think Aldo will spank Conor, and I hate Broner more than I've ever hated another boxer in my life, but this comparison has zero validity. Conor is nothing like Broner. Broner has zero charisma, hangs off Floyd like a barnacle, and consistently fights guys who can't punch. (Except against Maidana, where he proceeded to get beat down.)

When Conor starts eating strippers out on stage, flushing $20's down the toilet, and posting pictures of himself getting fellatied by other stippers (not the one he ate out), then we'll talk.

Conor doesn't fight the way he fights because he disrespects his opponents. European boxers are notorious for their vertical, upright styles. Conor strikes the way he does because it's all he knows. His hands being down is just poor technique, and is pretty rampant in MMA.
