I am a Conor fan and tonight reminded me that he is just a human and can lose like anyone else. I made a thread about it admitting that i was wrong as well.

Watching Conor fight Diaz showed me that his punches especially the 'Celtic Cross' is not that effective against bigger guys. At this point i am starting to think that Dos Anjos would've kicked his ass and at this point i am happy that he lost but also mad because i lost 500$ because of that ginger.

That being said, i think that he possesses stronger punches what an average LW has but i don't think that he would become the champ. I also think that Aldo could kick his ass in the rematch (200) which would be ideal to see his ego go even lower than it did tonight. His biggest advantage is the power in the FW division because he is obviously a very big guy for the division and he has very strong punches, if he stays there he will be the reigning champ but if he goes up weight being as delusional that he was in the press conference saying that he still wants the Lawler fight in the future, then he will get knocked out. I mean the guy claimed to have a 'iron chin' but got rocked by DIAZ who isn't exactly known for strong punches.

It only requires a good boxer with a good ground game or a wrestler to defeat Conor it seems. Hopefully he fixes his ground game fast
Hats off to the people who predicted that Diz will win

Nate is very good at absorbing punches. I'm not sure many fighters would still be standing in the second with some of the stuff McGregor throw at him. I think McGregor loses a lot against the top LW because that's a badass division, but he can also get some wins in a stand up fight where he has the reach.
