Lets set the record straight for next weeks festivities.

If Conor wins next Saturday, will you be impressed or will it be a meaningless victory in your eyes?

I'll be impressed if Conor makes it past 2 rounds.

For the real hater it will be meaningless, of course. Even though he was praising Nate for everything he does, leading up to this fight.

as the greatest damn poster on this site, I think its important to say that McTapper will find me a way to to quit again and that's ok. Some people can't handle the pressure, some can't. Leprechaunnor just can't.

    I don't hate him.
I hate his crazy fans. So there will be no change with my attitude.

Even if he loses, he's champ at 145.

    Win-win.

What's so impressive about beating Nate Diaz? It's not like it would be the first time someone did that...

Conor fans make Nate out to be some world-beating fight God.

    He's not.

    He's a legit--but very beatable--LW.

If Conor wins, he'll just be achieving what a bunch of other decent fighters have.

But he won't win because he's not good enough to beat Nate.

Impressed. Hell, I was impressed he took the first fight in the first place and did as well as he did, at 170.

Conor haters care about what eachother think. But I get what you're really saying... that after Conor loses to Nate again, no one should care about what Conor nuthuggers have to say. Gotcha!!

    Meaningless.
    How could it be meaningful?
He needs to get back to the division he holds a belt in and defend it. That would be meaningful.

It's not like he fought GSP at 170 or anything.

Same here. The stuff that the majority of his fans say is just ridiculous. There are some non-idiot fans of his though.

Either way, I am impressed that he is willing to rematch and has confidence that he can win. I will be super impressed if he wins.

Then I will probably gouge out my eyes after reading the nonsense that some of his fans start spewing.

I'll be impressed initially. Then it will turn to more hate, as the endless horde of Conor stans manages to turn the victory into some type of "once in history, never before" scenario and somehow this win over Nate Diaz will matter so much more than when anyone else has beaten Nate. Guaranteed.

AND has the 'I fought a bigger man' excuse. Win-win indeed.
