I agree with you and I keep saying "considered" not should. Meaning there "may" be an argument for being a top fighter.
 
Most conor fans are loud mouths just like their idol. Im honestly not sure if most were serious about the claims of GOAT I honestly hope it was all a big joke.

That's how I feel. If you don't like being American get the fuck out. I hate all these hippy dippy idiots that think it's nifty to claim other nation's. If you want to be a Conor fan, (God knows why) you can. Just don't go buying an Irish flag and waving it like you're actually from that nation. And you know at least half of those people flying Irish flags at Conor fights are really dipshit Americans. Only a portion of them are actual Irishmen I'd register to guess.

This is why you are driving me nuts. We aren't talking about top fighters. We are talking about the 4 greatest mixed martial artists of all time, across all era's. If Conor defended his 145 belt 6 consecutive times over the next 3 years, he still wouldn't be in that group. That group is crazy. GSP went 12-2 in title fights, winning his last 10 title fights consecutively. If Bones beats DC in April he will move to 10-0 in title fights. Anderson won something like 12 title fights consecutively.

Do you see how long it would take for McGregor to even approach those numbers since he is currently sitting at 0 defenses?

I think McGregor defending 6 times with Aldo in the mix puts him up pretty nicely.

We dont know who Conor will face for his next multiple title defenses so I pretty much stated the MINIMUM amount of people he should face just to be safe. Do you not get that?

- Irvin, Lutter and Bonnar wernt title defenses
- Okami has been top5-10 most of his career, he is not a bum
- Cote, Marquart , Maia and Leites were all beasts when Anderson fought them, most of them still great fighters today.
- i can do the same thing you just did for Bones, GSP and Fedor aswell.
- either you have a short memory span or your 3 day old joining date is when you started watching MMA.

Who is going to consider him as part of the 4 GOAT's group with 3, or 4, or 5, or even 6 defenses? Like I said, Hughes defended 7 times and he isn't even in that group. Most do not even consider Aldo in that group.

Um, those guys defended their belts 8,9,10 times. 3 or 4 defenses isn't going to get you there. Unless you're Fedor and went undefeated for 10 yrs.

Aldo not being considered is due to the fact that FW was relatively unknown for a while.

But if Conor beats Aldo again, Edgar, and couple more top FW, he may have a case.

I do consider Aldo a goat though.

-then his reign was shorter and even less spectacular. Lutter was supposed to fight for the title but his fat arse couldn't make weight
-5-10 in a poor division
-Cote was not a beast. He defeated 5 average Joe's and was submitted by Lutter prior to that. If he was good he would not have been in TUF reject edition
-Marquart was average in a poor division, He defeated 4 nobodies and was gifted a shot
-Maia is a beast in the 170 division but as I mentioned got a title shot after 1 win...Dan Miller...
-Leites - see Marquart
You can't do the same to GSP. 170 was a strong division and he defeated true MMA legends with ease.

dunno if you heard, dos anjos says that mcgregor went up in weight class so he wouldnt have to defend his belt. lol
