First of all, I want to say Conor has guts moving up weight classes in MMA when most MMA fighters move down to try to bully smaller guys.

But not making Diaz cut to 155 was stupid, He could of had a huge advantage had he made him cut.

Thinking that he could sleep a obviously bigger guy with one punch was stupid. He should of strung combos together.

Thinking he could take Nates punches and walk through them was stupid he should of bounced on the outside and avoided as many punches as he could.

There's reason why boxers have advisors, they avoid shit like this from happening.

At the end of the day Conor is a little guy with great boxing strong punches and good movement we shouldnt shit on him cause he failed we should celebrate him for trying

Yeah.. any other fighter would have made his opponent cut weight (especially if he himself is going up in weight)

weight classes exist for a reason

also, looks like nate holds the conor belt

Oh no it McGreat mistakes instead of just McGreat..................son of a bitch

His career is a work in progress.
He has many wins in the UFC, against good competition, and one loss.
He's still on an elite career path.

IMO he brought all this ish on himself he was starting to believe in his own hype. and he paid the price. he better stay at featherweight.

Conor wanted a big payday against what he perceived to be a safe guy that couldn't hurt him on the feet. And the win would have allowed him to pick any fight he wanted in three divisions. It was such an incentive to him that they agreed to no weight cut for either guy.

So please, can we stop with the idea that he did it for the fans or to challenge himself or whatever. He did it because it was in his best interest.

Which is what he should be doing. But let's not glorify it as something else. And he needs to go back to the drawing board if he plans on moving up again because running through people won't be an option.

Conor made HUGE noobish mistakes on the ground. Getting owned by someone that didn't even train.... is even WORSt!!!

Times like this is where Japanese fans shit all over everyone else. Fighters lose, that's the nature of the game. Stop acting like fighters owe you a fucking apology after every loss.

Even if they fought at 155 I don't think it would have made a difference. His downfall was in this gameplan more then the weight. He decided to close the distance by throwing wild punches and keeping his hands down. I doubt his gameplan would have been different at 155

please explain to me how conor is bullying "smaller" guys? I don't get this perception. He is making the weight at 145, is he not? Are other guys cutting weight also? Does aldo cut a ton of weight? Does Pourier cut alot of weight? The answer to all is yes. Does ever single fighter in the ufc cut weight? Yes. So this he fights smaller guys is stupid and needs to stop. Just cause he is taller or has a longer reach, ala Jon Jones, doesn't mean he is fighting smaller guys.

A fighters size is determined by their weight, not their height or reach. Conor moved up and weighed 23lbs more than his last fight. if people don't think that's going to effect his performance are stupid morons.

Ok tough guy.
Go roll with Nate Diaz during a period where he's not even training and see how you do.

Nate fought on dec 20th. he was also training for a triathalon. So I call bullshit to your assessment..

I think the extra weight effected his cardio.

R U serious??? Nate 2 week training camp and Connor messed up??? He did, by choosing to fight a Diaz

I love this "he wasn't training" crap. haha the guy just fought on dec 20th and was currently training for a triathalon. So he was training.

Another Conor mistake was just like GSP vs Serra.

When you get rocked take your time and recover. Don't get into more exchanges.

He did land combos, and he didnt bounce on the outside cuz he ran out of gas swinging haymakers all of round 1 trying to get the KO.

he messed up by going up 2 weight classes without ever fighting at ww before.
