Do you do jiu-jitsu? Defending a rear naked is much more desirable than getting your face pounded from full mount. He did the right thing.
 
If anything this was good for him. He will still have a chin after this fight. Weidman should had done the same.

Yeah, he forgot to actually defend lol. Or he was too dazed to do so. But still better than getting destroyed in mount.
 
It happens all the time when getting punched in the face.
 
I hope they put him up against a wrestler at 155 now. I would love to see him get mauled. Chances are, he's going to kill himself to fight midgets again.
 
Someone here said that the disparity on the ground between Conor and Nate would be bigger than Maia and Nelson. Probably just as big, total domination
 
Conor was hurt and in panic wrestling mode. I don't think he even knew where he was at that point, he just wanted the punches to stop.
