    @6:46

Interviewer: "Unfortunately we didn't get to see you in the buildup to the Khabib fight. We see a very different guy, you seem very centered and I don't know if that's because the focus is there..."

Conor: "Exactly, the focus is there, simple as, you know. I'm just focused. I was not as focused you know, it was almost like my job was done after that Brooklyn incident. What needed to happen, happened and the bout was just an after affect. I wasn't fully focused on it, I wasn't fully committed with it and that led to a different man..."

    LMFAO.
How could've he not been driven and focused to put hands on the man who slapped his best friend, the man whom he provoked on social media for months and the man who he was on record saying he "cannot wait to get his hands on".

Thats literally as personal as it gets in this sport and I can't imagine you not being focused with that level of animosity, anticipation, and the magnitude of the BIGGEST fight in the history of the sport.

Gems like this are why I am not a fan of his. Too much delusional, wishy washy, excuses while constantly attempting to paint new narratives. Feels like I'm listening to a used car salesman sometimes.

    Enjoy and discuss..

And his idiot fans will believe anything he says.

    Proof here:
LMFAO, It's sad really. I shouldn't laugh at this guy.

Connor clearly says whatever suits his needs, truth or not.

But that doesn't mean he was as focused as he could have been leading up to his fight against Khabib.

    (Khabib wins the rematch anyway)

He also says he will definitely beat Floyd in a rematch and is good enough to become a boxing World champ <36>

Why can't he be more like other fighters who don't offer any excuses after a loss and admit they got beaten by the better fighter?

Conor is right. He went into camp unfocused and broke his foot, but despite that and coming back after a 2 year lay off he still took Khabib to the 4th round and had Khabib panicking to bury his face into Conor's crotch

Conrat has left his gullible nuthuggers in a pickle. The book of excuses he has for losing to Khabib yet til this day he claims he was fully focused and committed to the Nate rematch which means he went life and death against a gate keeper when he was at his very best LOL.

Imagine Khabib fighting the likes of Nate or Cowboy, it would be a slap in the face to his fans and the sport but in Conrat land it's the norm.

He's rationalising his loss, nothing unusual about that in a fighter.

I think he is implying that he thought the dolly incident had khabib shook to the point he would be severely compromised in the fight as some of his previous opponents were ala Aldo. Little did he know Khabib is about as mentally tough as they come and the only real effect it had was making him jump out of the octagon and attack another member of Connors group after tapping him.

I get it now!! You guys are dying to plant your heads between Conor's legs and are jealous of Khabib!!

    Ask Khabib
Khabib was not focused during the fight he was thinking about his cucumber and tomato farm in Dagestan.

At the end of the fight he found out that his cucumber patch was eaten by parasites and jumped Dillon out of frustration. Zuba and the red shirt guy had invested money and were angry to.

He wasn't taking it as seriously as he should have been.
He was drinking and partying in the lead up to the fight and not training properly. Got what he deserved.
Having shit loads of money ruined him as a fighter and turned him in to a parody of everything he used to hate.

people that drink and doesn't take huge fights seriously leading up to the fight are usually scared of the fact that they are up against a mountain and they want to give themselves excuses

It's like I'm looking at a mob of angry peasants...

Till this day, the weakest shit on this forum remains the "excuses" thing.

What do you expect for fighters to do?

    Quit after one loss?

You want Conor to cry and beg or some shit? So you can feel better about not having 100mil in your bank?

And this goes for any fighter, doesn't have to be Conor.

If Khabib loses his next fight would you rather have him reflect on his loss and try to find the reason for losing or do you want him to turtle up and quit?

It's like you mothefuckers are out for blood and nothing more...

Excuses are normal and are here to stay. They are necessary.

Or their ego got out of control after they recently came in to a shit load of money and they assumed they could drink there way though a camp/fight with minimal training and a shit attitude.
Not saying he would have won had he been more dedicated but it sure would have given him a better chance.
Saying fighters are scared of other fighters is ridiculous.
