Conor doesn't rule out 185 division.

Oh wow, I'm salivating at the thought of Conor vs Rockhold. The hilarity that would ensue at the press conference ... oh boy. Conor has already talked shit about Luke back when he was only 145, haha.
 
For once, this is just talk. I don't think Conor has any intention of facing Rockhold or Weidman or Jacare or Romero.

Anderson Silva on the other hand...

This clown has yet to even fight outside of 145 yet in the UFC. And lol at him fighting at 185.
 
What I can see is a SUPER DUPER fight in Brazil, vs Anderson maybe a farewell fight for Andy...
But other than that I don't see him take anyone from the top 5 or even top 10. Except for Anderson.

The buildup would be the greatest of all time. It'd be worth doing for that alone. They're the two best talkers in MMA history by far.

Probably horrible stylistically though for Conor. Chael is a big takedown machine with great top control and endless cardio. His weakness is possibly his sub defense, and that's not something Conor threatens much with. He also has a great chin. The biggest question mark would be how far Chael has fallen since he was that machine that I'm talking about. He's a lot older now and we're in the USADA era of the UFC.
 
Did you guys see what Rockhold did to Weidman on the ground? What Luke would do to Conor on the ground would be considered rape.

Oh I agree it would be totally one sided but I would pay a very large sum of money to see those two talk trash to each other.
 
Love him or hate him, you can't deny the man's courage. I wish more champs were willing to step up and make big fights happen outside their weight classes.

155-170 is already a huge weight gap, 170-185 is even more significant. You are talking about a solid 40lbs difference between featherweight and middleweight. You have former LHW's who are currently fighting at MW and from what I heard, the typical MW walks around 210-220lbs. The muscle mass Conor will need to develop to not have a significant weight disadvantage has to be significant, and might be counter productive to his speed which would be his best weapon.

If that is what The Luke desires than that is what The Luke will have. He would have his way with Conor any way he wants.
