Conor does the same thing every time, yet no one can stop his left, why?

Except for the 3, 4 if counting his Boxing match, who have beat him before.. a Flyweight, a undefeated Pro Boxer who had just got into MMA, a 10 day notice LW fighting at WE, and the best Boxer of the past two decades. I believe Max, Dustin and Chad beat him in a rematch, and also believe a focused Nate at 155, would beat him in a third fight too. I also believe Khabib wins when they fight in Oct.

It was a joke.

What are your thoughts on the subject?

Because footwork and boxing is still the weakest aspect of MMA

Dan henderson and been using the same setup for 10 years and people still run into his H bomb. He fakes a kick, loads the fuck up by bending his knees, and throws everything into that punch.

Yet only the top 5 are smart enough to avoid it. Showing how dumb and stupid some mma fighters are to not practice footwork and proper boxing. Look at tim for example, dude wouldn't even be a top 5000 boxer in China. Typical D level just scrap athelete. Runs into the punch with his hands down didn't even look like he was going to throw anything just decided to run into Dan to hug him

It took 10 years for somone to figure out stay in front of Silva but never Chase. Chris molasses Weidman was able to dethrone one of the goats utilizing this. He realized Silva moves side to size and nobody has ever doubled up their punches. Meaning they go left right left right and its predictable all the time.

Chris went left, faked right by flicking a jab, then left again while not CHASING and that was all it took to KO Silva.

Simple: overreach.

McG is sooo good with his distance that he needs to set that up before any significant strike he lands; he measures, does some kicks and then when you try to reach him, he clips you. the key is not let him get his distance and let him be the aggressor. We saw in the Floyd fight he wasted a lot of energy by switching stances but since this is mma you need to attack his lead leg and circle away from his left and feint a lot so when he throws his left you can counter him; Mcg is primarily a counter puncher so you need to disrupt his attacks and not overreact in trying to reach his head; Eddie tried with a looping right who didn't even touched Mcg and got dropped. Or going into pressure to get the clinch and get a TD which, it's the most logical strategy for khabib.

Actually it's my bad. This place brings out the worst in people.
Shit is like a car wreck, you try to avoid it, but you can't stay away. I am def guilty of that. Enjoy the fights tonight, respect!

It must suck living your life outside of reality. Lmfao.
do you even read your posts dude?

Literally some of the most delusional "analysis" you can possibly make.

You're projecting so heavily that it makes my soul hurt

He doesn't fight enough high level competition consistently enough.

Every time Conor counters with a left he dodges his head to the left in ducking motion, realligns, and throws basically a straight but it acts like a cross on the chin. Almost all his KO
s are like this, seems like a tendency you could learn to exploit. His kicks are for show, his right isn't that powerful, take away his left hand and you're solid. Diaz was rotating straight into these in both fights, and nearly won both however. He has timing and precision, but its the same go to punch EVERY time. Shouldn't a Professional MMA coach have a strategy to counter this?

In before generic Conor comments praising his power, he's more like Anderson, not super powerful but he hits the right spots with precision. Its why he lost his power in Boxing, hard to be accurate with pillows on your hands and pillows protecting their faces lol.
his movements are pretty basic...

problem is the evident speed advantage over other fighters. the difference is very significant.. almost ridiculous

that can be trained... but genetics rule there

He's good.
His footwork is incredibly good for MMA standards.

Watch the video and then you will see just how good Conor’s hands/movement are.

Mayweather made easy work of Conor’s left hand

Conor isn’t great

Deal with it

Here's the thing: if Mayweather needed to watch out for leg kicks and other MMA stuff, he would have been toast.

MMA fighters need to watch out for a lot of stuff, and with the absence of an encompassing guard that defends strikes, clinches and takedowns at the same time it's easy to understand why a rudimentary boxer like McGregor can hit them. Unlike in boxing, Mayweather can weave, hide behind his shoulder and move out of the way for a decision win using his stance and style. Not so in MMA.
