Diaz pushed the question 3 times and Conor avoided it. Then he flatly says it "He's got no training partners."

Why? Is he on to something? Is Conor not actually training with other pro caliber fighters? Has his run been a heavy hands induced fluke or is he just that talented?

Honestly I think all of Conor's special movement and timing nonsense is just garbage. He's won anyway because he does have a super mean counter left- but how long can he ride that?

As a simple thought experiment, if Conor couldn't get the KO vs Mendes or Aldo, would he have won?

If it becomes an actual technical long drawn out fight and he can't KO diaz, Does Conor win? Or does the alleged not proper training catch up with him?

You think his special movement and timing is garbage. Okay can you answer this and be honest - I get you're an MMA fan but do you know much about the technical aspect of it?

Well, he probably didn't want to bring Artem's name up, again.

Does it really matter who you train with? You could be the punching bag at a gym full of great fighters. That doesn't make you a great fighter. Conor has proven himself a great fighter.

And Conor kind of got him back with that though... Who Diaz trains with.... 2 guys who've been busted.

This is must be one of those gang things... my gang is tougher than your gang.

Heavy Hands, really good at what he does best (countering with that left), and cutting weight so he can come in a lot bigger than the 145s and absorb punishment better.

Conor will answer after Nate tells us if he knew Giblert and Shields were juicing.

pretty good counter attack on conor, there isnt much to go on at this point until he loses or shows some weakness - he trains w gunnar, i consider him legit

Why do average people like you push this idea that you are a nobody because of who you grew up with, who you trained with, who you associate with... Just STFU!

just by simply training with well known people doesnt automatically make you better, you still have to put the hard work in..

conor won a FW title by training with "nobodies" .... diaz can train with all these big names but hes never won a title... so by his own logic, hes not saying anything at all

He trains with the same people he came up with because he trusts them and he is not going to get injured. Its smart business

He trains with his own people. His belts and bank balance tells me it makes no fucking difference who you train with. Nate could train wth he best he would still be a very average fighter.

And then people say Conor fans are bad......

Gunnar Nelson, Makwan Amirkhani, Pendred, that hungry looking 125 pound guy who got destroyed in his hometown.

I dont see any "elite" training partners, but theyre damn good putting it lightly.

I've got 13 ammy boxing matches on my record.

I'm not saying he isn't using the right words, but his movement/stance isn't textbook by any body's standard. He's relied a lot more on his talent than his honed skills to get where he is. You can make freaky stuff work if you're extremely talented(Roy Jones,) but it doesn't make what he's doing proper. And while he has heavy enough hands to hurt anyone he's faced so far, I don't think his talent level is enough to carry him against guys with a chin.

I admit this is speculation and we'll have to see how it all pans out, but not to long ago they were calling Ronda a world class striker while she was a terrible at it as well. She just so happened to be a better athlete than most women so her lack of standing skill didn't matter- till she met holm.

What does training partner have to do with anything?

You can be a world champion training with a tomato can and you can be a tomato can training with world champions.
