The bigger question is what will the King do?
My take is it wouldn't surprise me at all if he was actually guilty. And if he is he should go to prison, not fork out what amounts to an electric bill for him.
But it can't be completely ignored that he was found not guilty in the trial. As others have already mentioned Civil cases have drastically lower burden of proof thresholds, such that most appeals are successful.
I'll just quote Napoleon Blownapart's take-
"If you believe that a guy who flew a group of twenty coked out lunatics halfway across the planet to go beat up a guy on a bus doesn't have it in him to assault someone, you're more gracious than I am."
