    - both are one dimensional fighters
    - both are trained by sketchy coaches who are most likely conmen
    - both are loudmouths with no higher education, attracting trashy WWE fans
    - both piggyback off Floyd Mayweather's name
    - both think they would beat the entire UFC roster under the right circumnstances
    - both were brutally finished by a southpaw boxer
    - both were a product of UFC hype machine

    Differences:

    - Ronda defends her belt

Ronda finished a fight with strikes.
Conor has yet to show an effective ground game.

Both equally becoming irrelevant at the expense of Platinum Mike Perry.

This is true, I've thought about it as well, Edmund has obviously done a better job than his Irish counterpart

Yes, because they attract trashy WWE fans who don't even know the difference between then/than

Truth be told... I'm gonna wreck my Conor hating credibility... I fully expect that he'll win by sub or show a crafty escape at some point.

Not a fan of either really.

But atleast Conor can take an L and shake it off very well, unlike Ronda.

I mean they both are rich which is a pretty rare thing to happen in this sport but besides that not much else. Comparing skills of mma and wmma plus the comp they have to face is a joke. The talent level in wmma right now is what the mma was like in the 90's not comparable. I will give Conner this at least he did not hide after his lose he went on to avenge it and moved on with his career.

Rousey was brutally finished, Conor tapped. Also Mcgregor is in it for the money and plans things out. He says stuff to create interest and get money while Rousey is just crazy. Mcgregor mentions possible opponents while Rousey once again (is crazy). By mentioning the WWE he gets WWE fans interested in his fights and he knows that, he also might enter the WWE someday. With Mayweather, he keeps mentioning Mcgregor and they are interested in fighting eachother $$$. As for one dimensional people always mention his grappling but his grappling isn't anywhere near as bad as Khabib's striking. I think the biggest thing Rousey and Conor have in common is your irrational hatred for them. Conor has shown great tdd, he also controlled holloway and Siver on the ground, took Nate down and also swept Nate. Conor is clearly a lot smarter than you are if you have bought into his act.

LMAO at "controlling" a white belt Holloway being a measure of good grappling. The only time he took Nate down was when he panic wrestled and got chocked out. Clearly a troll or just another uneducated fan

Shining in one particular area the most isn't necessarily a bad thing. Calling somebody well rounded is usually just a nice way of saying that they aren't particularly good at anything. Silva was submitted 3 times before entering the UFC. Even now that he has a black belt and has submitted some high level guys he prefers to strike. Look at GSP, he wasn't the greatest on his feet but he was good and was dominant on the ground. If Khabib takes down Mcgregor and subs him it's not because Mcgregor is a bad grappler, it's because Khabib is the best there is.
