Connors arogance or Fedors humbleness?

    SO, both fighters have/had tremendeous , succsesful carreers, both dismantled their opponents(don't start with the fedor hate), both are very mentally strong, hard workers, very focused but,,,totally different characters and approach by which they get to their goals...

    Connor is the "get into your head, pump himself to status of a God" guy, and it gives him the mental edge over his opponents, he believes in himself and his opponents doubt themselves...

    Fedor, totally calm, never shit talks, humble,,,,yet, his opponents were also mentally foked before fights :)

    Who do you like watching more? who do you think inspires people more to train/fight? does it matter who is the better role model for the kids?

    Prefer the Fedor type although I have always been a fan of the Diaz bros as well

    For some reason I just cannot bring myself to like the way Conor carries himself, he is a really talented fighter though

    In the end, that's all that really matters to me as a fan.

    i like watching fedor fights better... inspires more people to train/fight? maybe conor. he's got quite the fan base. and he's coming to popularity at a time where mma is more popular, so he's reaching more people. although i think he's an annoying retard... does it matter who is the better role model for the kids? very subjective question.

    Yeah Connor acts like a douche, but I like watching him fight. I like Fedor better, but his weirdo fans kind of ruined him for me.

    Depends on what you're looking for. If you're a purist who's about the fights only they're more or less the same, Fedor probably edges out a bit because he can engage anyone anywhere and win. If you're into the overall entertainment product then it's not even close. Conor all the way. Fedor wasn't even the biggest name back in Pride, despite being billed as the strongest in 6 billion and more or less living up to that name for years. Fedor can't create popcorn to save his life.

    Clearly more people enjoy watching the Conor antics more because of all the PPV buys and etc. People watch to see him lose or win, but they still watch.

    Who do you like watching more? Fedor...when he did fight.
    who do you think inspires people more to train/fight? Train-Fedor, Fight- Conor. Get that $$$$
    does it matter who is the better role model for the kids? MMA fighters are not role models. It's a business of hurting people.

    Connor still has to set a huge winning streak.

    Fedor was not humble he was quiet and above the moronic bs of shit talking. He was also pretty damn honest and knew he could lose so he never claimed to be unbeatable or shit of that sort.

    I cant stand either, humble or arrogant both are signs of fake people.

    Once you realize Conor is just selling tickets, it's almost admirable how well he presents his character. When he starts spitting on opponents, refusing to touch gloves, etc I'll dislike him for it.

    The talking or the LACK there of doesn't concern me.... They do their talking in the cage/ring, and that's when it MATTERS.

    Both can be entertaining. I always liked Fedor's smile... like he knows something. I'm remembering that moment in Pride when Crocop called him out telling him 'you're next' and Fedor just sat still and smiled. Every bit as powerful (or moreso) as when Conor starts spouting off.

    GSP got KOed by Matt Serra, Who was nothing but a blown up Lightweight at that time.
    Anderson Silva got submitted by Daiju Takase a welterweight with record of 12-15.

    And I can go on.

    Conor's been submitted by a natural flyweight.
    I prefer Fedor's style. I always liked the contrast between his calm outside the ring and his violence inside. Both are great fighters.
