Trust me. I was one of the the first on board with the GOAT jokes. It's been a really fun ride, but seriously...

He is showing no signs of stopping. Do you think guys ACTUALLY think he will get the title shot?

If so, what do you predict his legacy will be?

How far can he ACTUALLY go?

I think he is more talented than Chael. Don't see him being champion while Aldo is around though. Probably a solid top 5 fighter.
 
If he beats Poirier he's only one fight away. He could even get the shot right after that depending how bad he smashes him.

I think maybe they'll feed Edgar to him after the Poirier fight. Pains me to say it, but McGregor will knock Frankie out cold.

I'm not sure he'll beat Aldo or Mendes though.

Yep. He will get rid of mid-tier fighters but won't be good enough to beat the best of the division. He will stay relevant because of his "mic" skills which i really don't get like a horrible meme that won't go away.
 
Charismatic top 10 guy..probably 5-10 but my guess is the UFC will give him some favorable rankings to try to get him over..Seem likeable. Bisping 2.0 without the douchebaggery(now an official word)
 
I think he is talented. I don't think he'll be a top fighter. Probably a perennial top 10-15 fighter is his ceiling.

And the goat jokes are fucking stupid and annoying.
 
He is a very good fighter, the Poirier fight will answer alot of questions about him.
 
Extremely charismatic, well spoken and definitely a star.

Showing potential as a contender but still a question mark. The Poirier fight will answer a lot of questions good or bad.
 
His fighting is not quite on the level of his vocal skills, and he will need some high level wins for me to be convinced of any of those claims he makes becoming a reality.

That said it is very entertaining, and MMA needs people like that as well.
 
Mid Tier fighter UFC has put a lot of money into hoping to create starpower since all the big names are heading out/injured. the mindless masses buy it hook line and sinkers.
 
He's still young in his UFC career but I believe he is the greatest fighter we have ever seen and probably will ever see.

Frankie will attempt to have a 25 minute marathon / dance-off, and then when it goes to decision he will throw his hat down if he loses. And all his fans will cry pitter-patter jabs are "significant strikes."

Would love to see Connor shut frankie up.
 
Of course calling him the GOAT is just for the irony since he has only 3 fights in the UFC.

The dude has no end of talent. He knows that when he runs his mouth, he has to back it (which until now, he has done). He knows what people want to see and hear. He'll probably be MMA's first European star.

But, otherwise, I don't really care about any UFC fighter's attitude outside the UFC, as long as he delivers and he doesn't dig himself into a shit heap, he'll continue being McGOAT for me.
