Connor keeps saying "We got robbed of round 4 and 5 for Diaz/Masvidal"

The lead up to Mas v Conor would be gold. We've seen how Mas reacts to shit talk.

The fight would be even better.

Conor got the quick KO against Aldo, but Aldo (prime, not now obviously) stylistically is a MUCH harder fight for Conor. His leg kicks would be a nightmare for Conors front foot heavy stance and Aldo's pivots would be a great counter for Conor's back and forth movement. Nate's cardio is the only reason Conor doesn't squash him. I would bet anything when Conor is retired and looking back talking about his best fights he won't be talking about the time he got choked out and than MDd a journeyman who had no business being competitive with Conor in the first place. Nate is not close to an elite fighter. Conor may get overrated by his fans, but he is an elite fighter.
I think your wrong, I think the Diaz win will always special to him.

Nothing about Nates performance against Masvidal showed me that he was mounting any kind of come back.

He was outclassed on the feet with the hands and with the kicks and out classed and out maneuvered in the clinch and did nothing on the ground.

At least against Conor, Nate started finding success in the second and third rounds of those fights. He never found any success against Mas so me nothing suggested he would have came back to win.

I love Nate and respect him but hes becoming a punching bag with CTE.

I thought Nate was losing 30-27 going into round 4 but his pace in round three greatly improved. Like I said, I don't think he would have won but it's possible he could have taken a round or two or even get a late finish if that continued while Jorge's pace remained the same or lessened. I don't think the odds of that happening were very good but there's a chance it might have.

I dont think you understand what being hurt in a fight is, there was a never a punch he landed that made masvidal lose his legs or effect his cognitive functions.

like when masvidal made nate drop or lose he legs thats being hurt, landing a punch that causes someone to backup and reposition is just basic boxing

Fair enough. I just remember thinking a few of them landed nice for Nate and they gave Mas a bit of pause, not that he was about to get finished or anything. I'm definitely not putting it on the same level as what Mas was doing to Nate, for sure.

Did Conor not win that round on every card?

No he sure as hell didn't.

Thanks for trying though. Anyone with eyes and a brain knows Nate won round 5.

Conor was mad because Masvidal beat Nate much easier than he ever could

I like Nate way more then Conor I thought he clean swept the third my bad. Conor did win that round though, pretty clearly.

Diaz probably would have won the 4th and 5th. He still would have lost the fight.

Diaz and Conor 3 would have been huge.
Conor vs Masvidal is not a bad fight but I doubt it will be as big.

I personally would like to see Conor vs Masvidal, that would be a great contest.

Penn got praise because he was much smaller than Conor and actually beat the best WW in the world and the #2 WW of all time. He also fought the greatest WW of all time twice. Conor doesn't get that praise because he is a LW who fought another LW, but neither felt like cutting weight. Also Nate and Cowboy are not half the MMA fighters Hughes and GSP were

If Conor fights Usman and Colby he will get props too. No one is going to give him props for fighting two journeymen LWs at 170

Top 5 fighters aren't Journeyman

BJ was fighting actual welterweights and specifically welterweight GOATs. Until Conor fights Usman or someone of that pedigree, fighting bloated 155ers at 170 shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as BJ.

FWIW, I was never a fan of Penn's, either.

Least he didn't lose 10 fights a row

Any Conor nut huggers better hope this fight never materializes. Masvidal would've finished any non-zombie fighter with the head kick he hit Nate with in the first. Conor, having been dropped by fucking Khabob and wobbled into a submission by Nate, wouldn't have survived that.

Sherdog is awfully high on a fighter with 13 losses. People on here are talking about him like he is unbeatable on the feet and that he is going to smash everyone. He hasn’t won more than 3 in a row since the start of his career. It’s okay to like the guy, but can we at least be realistic when talking about him?

Writing is on the wall, the UFC and Connor were praying Diaz would win the fight to setup the trilogy. Masvidal destroyed Diaz and Connor has not mentioned that once, keeps undermining Jorge saying Diaz would have came back in rounds 4 and 5.

Masvidal needs to force the UFC and Connors hand, talk shit and force them to make the fight next.
Agreed.

The same shots that rocked Conor ....Jorge was laughing at. Rewatch the fight with the sound off buddy Nat was slowing more then he was and had absolutely nothing to offer in that fight.
Everybody on this god forsaken forum who thinks Masvidal is a threat to McGregor I wish was banned from typing anymore!
Fook those blasphemous degens!

He is better everywhere and has way more heart. Tell me what area Conor is better then him in? Styles make fights and that is the worst possible match up for him. Conor relies strictly on his boxing and Jorge is better offensively and defensively. Conor is gonna get exposed bad in the this comeback attempt, might even happen Saturday.
