After this fight we may never see the same Connor , I fully expect for him to win his next fights, but with his competitive attitude he could come back as a different fighter and leave his risk taking in the past and just out put all his competition , with teep kicks , a jab and solid movement he could do that very thing and use his mouth to continue to sell ppvs

no, there will only ever be one GSP. He's the first Connor tho..

He should still beat most guys at FW, just all depends on how he is handling the loss mentally, it seems like he is handling it well but you never know.

well, if you ignore the fact that he has garbage ass grappling, yeah

You mean minus the well-rounded MMA game, right? He's impressive, but it's primarily only in the standup.

Could, some people also forget that Anderson Silva had a few losses before going on the longest UFC title reign ever. The only thing for Conor is that he needs to become more diversafied in his abilities. Anderson had BJJ and clinch to fall back on if his striking didnt work. GSP had his jab and his wrestling. Conor has showed he can fall back on wrestling sometimes (against Max), but to what extent?

In any event, I don't think that grappling against Nate was the end all be all. Reminder that even Anderson refused to grapple with Maia, not saying Nate is Maia but that sometimes there are fights you shouldnt compete it.

Seen this coming a mile away, can't even begin to compare the 2. Totally disrespectful to GSP, let's not forget that Cloner besides a ground game also lacks the class to ever be in the same conversation

How does him being tapped by Diaz make his grappling garbage? Are you aware that Diaz has the most sub victories in UFC history since they've gone to a non-tourney format?

Nah, he knows what got him allll this was being exciting in there. Win or lose, he'll come to fight. And I respect him for that.

gsp esque in TDD

It was impressive to watch GSP's opponents who were REALLY good at fighting not be able to fight, but thats about it. He would get eaten alive by Robbie Lawler today

Nice. Conor has his left and kicks, but if it doesn't work he doesn't have much left. Good wrestling and top control yes, but not enough.

If he becomes a more complete fighter he has everything to defend his belt many times, and maybe, get close to getting a second belt too.

Right now I have Ferguson, Nate, Edgar and Khabib beating him. Others tough fighters that are not even top 10 like Felder and Duffy gives a tough fight for current Conor too. It is all about match up right now, most of them won't be able to resist the first round.

NO... Unlike Conor George could actually bring a man to the crowd without desperation wrestling being the cause.
