The only thing for Conor is that he needs to become more diversafied in his abilities. Anderson had BJJ and clinch to fall back on if his striking didnt work. GSP had his jab and his wrestling. Conor has showed he can fall back on wrestling sometimes (against Max), but to what extent?

In any event, I don't think that grappling against Nate was the end all be all. Reminder that even Anderson refused to grapple with Maia, not saying Nate is Maia but that sometimes there are fights you shouldnt compete it.

Nice. Conor has his left and kicks, but if it doesn't work he doesn't have much left. Good wrestling and top control yes, but not enough.

If he becomes a more complete fighter he has everything to defend his belt many times, and maybe, get close to getting a second belt too.

Right now I have Ferguson, Nate, Edgar and Khabib beating him. Others tough fighters that are not even top 10 like Felder and Duffy gives a tough fight for current Conor too. It is all about match up right now, most of them won't be able to resist the first round.
