I would like to congratulate everyone who called out Masvidal's duckjob of Usman when he opted out of the title fight when first offered to him.

Just like a vocal minority of hardcore fans turned Masvidal into the star that he is, by riding the "Three Piece and a Soda" hypetrain, singing his praises when he ended Ben Askren's career, and celebrating him as the Baddest Motherfucker in the game, this same vocal minority was turning him into a journeyman and a duck.

Masvidal is a smart motherfucker, saw where he was reputation was heading and his hype diminishing, and renounced his ducking ways and took on the gamble we have liked to see him get into from the beginning. An everything-or-nothing showdown against Marty FakeNewsMan.

I am glad that Jorge redeemed himself, and to his doubters, don't let anyone bully you into "eating crow". If it wasn't for us, Jorge would have remained on the Wrongful Path of the Duck.

I have been watching Jorge's career and there is no doubt that he is a pretty good fighter. It should be noted that he has won 3 of his last 5 bouts, which is no easy task. And most of his losses have been split decision losses which means they could have gone either way. So I agree, Jorge is da man.
