Congratulations Clay Guida

Respect where it's due. This guy has been fighting since 2003, and if we count WEC, he's been a UFC guy since 06.

Yeah, if you look at his record on Wikipedia it looks like a Christmas tree with all that red and green, but also look at how many fight of the nights and other superlatives he's had.

The longevity is impressive, especially at those lower weight classes.

This is unironically a pretty respectable accomplishment for a fighter like Guida. The UFC isn't exactly known for treating its fighters with much kindness or empathy. Obviously Guida has done something to convince the higher-ups that he's worth keeping around, and that's something to be proud of.

in the jack paul era of combat sports i say that any sherdogger can knock this guy out. he doesnt do as much roids. hes done!

A lot easier to do when you're fighting cans 90% of the time. What's next, praise for Khabib's undefeated record? <lmao>
You are not really trying to claim 90% of Gegard's opponents are "Cans" are you? Try looking at his actual list of opponents. What defines a "Can" in your book? Not being in the UFC?

He had a 9-3 record in the UFC. One loss to Hall which was fairly fluky and he clearly avenged in dominant fashion, one to Jacare who was a top MW and Moose Ozzy had previously defeated and Machida another top fighter who he beat 5 years later in Bellator. Pretty good record at the "Highest Level". His other fights outside the UFC were still very high level guys.

The disrespect towards Moose in recent years is wild. Guy has been fighting for 20 years, nearly 70 pro fights, wins over:

Hector Lombard
Mark Hunt
Thiago Santos
Chris Weidman
Dan Henderson
Jacare Souza
Vitor Belfort
Douglas Lima
Rory MacDonald
Lyoto Machida
OSP
Hector Lombard
Melvin Manhoef

Not to mention the one and only SERALDO Babalu.

Hard to get rid of a guy that has been in TWO Fight of the Year..

You now have the most losses in UFC history at 19!

Good list. Did he fight Lombard twice? LOL

Nicely put.

OP is immature, unnecessary. A bad take.

Dude fills seats and is absolutely super entertaining to watch. As long as he feel healthy, he aint going to stop. I want to see him win though.
