It was a long and tough road, but the day of celebration has finally come for the handful of true Holly Holmies in this neighborhood, who still believed in her even after most self-proclaimed "hardcore fans" (many with 2015 join dates) already jumped off the bandwagon months ago, after turning on her and claim she was "exposed" and "overrated".

A closer look revealed that a few Holmies were actually confident enough to put real money on Holm at UFC 193 and was rewarded handsomely as the results, congratulation!!

As a fan of Rousey's, I finds it very respectable that you actually stuck with Holm through thick and thin, instead of abandoning ship as soon as the water got a little choppy in her first two UFC fights.

What do you die-hard Holly Holmies think about the legion of haters now pretending to be one of you all along, as they attempts to climb back on the Holm wagon like a horde of jungle ants? How long do you think you have before they inevitably turn on her again?

I thought she could do it but I expected a UD or a late round 4 or 5 stoppage via volume strikes. Thought it would be via head kick too but not that early.

She was impressive and the classiest champ/fighter second maybe only to GSP but I still want to see Cyborg fight in the UFC and climb the ladder.

im not even gonna lie i thought this would be the most competitive ronda fight to date but i wasnt sure holm had it. the destruction that happened wasnt at all what i expected though. been supporting holly since i saw herfor the first time in bellator back in 2013 but i never expected her to come this far this fast. wish i had read the situation better myself and id be rolling in some cash right now

I actually said years ago that Holm was the only real threat to ronda at 135, before she joined the UFC. After she did I changed my mind. Thought Ronda would get the TD and submit her with ease honestly.

Also I don't like Holly, she beat Honda.

Edit: i don't like her because she bores the shit out of me as soon as she opens her mouth, her fighting seem pretty damn good though. Also if you "knew" Holm would win show the betslip or you knew nothing.

Lol 2013-2015 join dates. I love how this is a thing. So when do I get to be a cool kid and hang out with the prom queen. I thought they rushed the holly fight in hopes to catch her in the headlights and sneak away with the win to capitalize on the whole boxing champ theme for they're princess. I figured Nunes should have been next. I liked Holly and figured talent wise that she could be a threat but at this stage Ronda would go to the grappling and win. I was never so excited to be wrong. Im glad she got it done and I think she makes a very likeable champion.

I gotta say the threads are strange today. Like you say with the bandwagon jumping and huggers trying to shame haters.

I see alot of salty Ronda cultists that are trying to find any angle they can to not look like idiots because they're little golden god couldnt stop walking into punches and took a nap in front of millions world wide. The relentless rubbish being spewed that pissed anyone with a mind of they're own off for months finally got exposed and nothing can fix or soften that. We all saw her get exposed.
